(fast reply) I've been outed at work. While I decided to take it in stride at the time, (I was in the process of relocating, buying a new home, so on), if I had it to do over again, I'd sue. Someone's personal life and sexual preferences are NOT fodder for anyone, particularly anyone in position of authority, to explore, comment on, or ask questions concerning, in the workplace environment. Take a look at your Employee Handbook. It likely has sections concerning sexual harassment and defamation. Read this as often as you need to. Beyond just losing your job, you can and will be personally named on a lawsuit if one were to arise. Problem is not that 'she works for you'. Problem is more that you are willing to conduct yourself in such an inappropriate manner in the work environment, and the only issue you seem to see is how to protect your own ass when she (rightfully) may get upset in response to your unwanted advances and inappropriate questions. Apologies if I stated this more harshly than the others, but truly, your kink is going to become your greatest liability if you don't learn to keep your personal and professional life separate, and have the same respect for others working around and for you, whether or not the 'girl' shows signs of being into the Lifestyle. ~Thea
