I agree with Morrigel. A good slave realizes a Mistress is always right (even if he feels She is wrong). he must tread carefully. But some Dommes assume to be a Mistress means to act rude and bitchy. A wise Domme knows that to gain respect you must act respectful. I have witnessed many male doms being disrespectful to Dommes for no reason at all. It is as though they feel that the ultimate challenging game is to dominate a Domme. A waste of his time as well as Hers. Respect goes both ways. Consider the laws of Cause and Effect. If you are rude to someone they will usually be rude back. If you treat someone with kindness they will usually respond back with kindness. Sadly it is not always the case, but most often. I prefer to dominate slaves in a kind manner. It should not be about hate or anger.

Whoa, I in no way shape or form want the responsability of being "always right" I am not, nor will I pretend I am. I also cant have much respect for anyone who thinks they always are, nor ACTS like that always are even if they arent. I dont remember Dommes ever being universally respectful of other Dommes just becasue of their status. Actually, from what I remember of the scene when I was involved in it publically... trying to swipe someone elses property was rather common. Personal attacks, especialy on forums where one person barely knows the first thing about another, just prove why while everyone deserves to be treated politely (until they prove otherwise) not everyone deserves respect. DV

Oh, well said. applause Somehow, I suspect the notion of "a Mistress is always right" would not go over well on the science forums. Though it would be certainly convenient to dismiss the need for such nuisancy things as actually testing a hypothesis or bothering to do any research. I'm just always and automatically right. Hey, I like that! I'm going to go let all my colleagues know that the rules have changed. [8D]
