What you need is a roundabout, smack bang right in the middle of Sunset Blvd. The roundabout forms a junction at which all traffic must give way/yield to allow those coming from the left (since you lot drive on the wrong side) to have priority. S can then drive up to the roundabout and take the U turn there, totally undisturbed by oncoming traffic who must yield, whilst others go straight on.

What you need to make the roundabout is something large and circular. The easiest way to obtain this is apparently to get very drunk and drive off alone into the desert in a pick up truck. About 2 am in the morning a UFO will approach you, so be sure to have a large net ready. Once caught, tie the UFO to your pick up truck and deliver it to the middle of the Boulevard. All you then need is a few give way/ yield signs, erected in concrete blocks to advise drivers they must stop. Any aliens in the UFO you can safely release in Hollywood as no one will hassle them there as everyone is weird.

Presto, solved, with little fuss.

I would suggest you purchase a stretch limo a driver and have that be his mode of transportation. That or alternativly you suggest ~ oh so sweetly ~ perhaps driving lessons for him are in order to learn to multi task <winks>

I actually are leaning to the limo and driver as think of the fun you two could have while being driven to the most mundane places.

Doesn't Sinergy operate forklifts? Tell him to pull over, grab a forklift, and use the forklift (which has a remarkable turning radius) to turn the car around.

see if you could rent him a porsche or some other tiny sports car for the day :)

edited to add: since you can not make the road wider but make the vehicle he travels in narrower which has the same effect

I wanted to report that I just spoke with my Daddy on his cell phone as he was on Sunset. He was very impressed with the job that I accomplished and told me that he could not even tell the difference of before and after the street was widened as all the buildings and landscaping looked so much like they did before I had the street widened for him....

This shows that hard work and determination never go unrewarded! I wanted to thank all of you for your helpful ideas.
