He sounds decent enough to me. You seem to have a problem with him. By the way, he considers himself a democratic socialist i.e. he follows the North European model.
He also points out that the US has the highest rate of childhood poverty of any industrialised nation on earth. Is this your problem? are you embarrassed so you'd rather keep it quiet?
You are so busy climbing up on your high horse with your tighty whiteys all in a bunch that you failed to see I wasn't ridiculing what's his name, but I was poking some harmless fun at your post.
We do have problems here in the ol' U.S. of A., but I don't see England as being absent of it's fair share of problems as well. So ...
- Get a sense of humor and whimsy or you're going to have an aneurysm
- Don't assume us Yanks need your help fixing our house when your house needs work of it's own.
- Don't they teach any manners their across the pond, or do you feel you have a right to just trounce on anyone that doesn't agree to every morsel that comes from your mouth?
- This is no longer your post - it's about Vermont, which is in the U.S. and since I'm a Yank, I am claiming it as our own. (We will allow you to visit, but you will need a VISA, a background check and you will have to remove your shoes before going through security)

First, re-read number 4 above - it's no longer your thread.
Second, you are assuming you said something of interest.
Third, you lost any moral high ground when you started name calling.
