I am trying to find some good solid information on WIITWD, specifically subspace and collars that a curious, openminded, nilla friend can understand. I spent some time at castlerealm the other day, but didn't have enough time to really search. It's been so long since I've been active in Ds BDSM that I've forgotten all the good sites. I'll keep searching, but in the meanwhile, I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction.

I'm not sure how helpful this is but.....

Last weekend my little sister popped over unannounced while Sir was up. She came in and I was in collar. Later she called and asked what it was and what it meant.

I explained that when He is visiting I am to be in collar, unless someone (like my parents) is over that it would bother. I explained that my collar is a symbol of the control i have given up freely to Him.( Added to the fact that he likes me in it *S* ) That he is in control.
She asked what he was in control of, was he in control of everything or just in the bedroom. I explain that he was in control of everything.

Once she realized that it was concensual and that he was not a domineering ogre, she seemed to accept it for what it was. She may not completely understand what it means but she realizes that if she has questions i'll answer openly and honestly and that i am in no danger.

I've found with dealing with nilla friends and family the more simple and straight forward the answer the better.
