Ok, I am self-tought (with some input in my youth from my dear Mom) how to know my way around a kitchen. Now I'm not just talking pushing buttons on the microwave, and turning on the mini toaster oven, but full on 4 star cheffing it up !

My Kitchen is MY ROOM. It is where I controll all aspects of what happens, what is served, how it is prepared, and what I want for dinner.
Contrary to many D/s relationships (especialy GOR) I (the Sir) perferr to do the cooking. The cleaning, serving, and preperations can be done my the sub, and to a degree I help out in this aspect also. I can't imagine that I am alone in this.

so FESS UP !

where are the cooks at ??????

Hey Darth,

Check your bulk mail folder, I sent you mail a bit ago and you never read it. Probably because I'm either a top or outside your age range. Or you hate me. Or something ~grin~

I love cooking myself (thanks Mom and Grandma) and don't much look at it from a Dom/sub point of view (unless you count a naked subbie cooking bacon in the morning *eg*). Life's too short to eat bad food, so I have no prob's cooking. Of course, it's a nice plus if she can also, and certainly anyone can and should learn the skill.

The only time I am in the kitchen is to wash dishes or read the newspaper while Sir cooks. As Sir values His health, He stresses that I never cook, and I happily comply because I'm the kind of girl who can ruin a glass of water!

Oh I am so glad that Sir prefers me to do the cooking. I just don't know what I would do if He decided He wanted to take over that aspect of our lives as that is such a huge part of what I do to please Him.

And here I thought I was alone in this. I love to cook!!! That's how I paid my way through college, cooking at a country club. I get great satisfaction from "whipping" up a great meal. (pun intended)

Ray is a chef and cooks delightfully. And so do I *grin*.

We often cook together - and it's a lot of fun. Our dream kitchen is to have a commerical industrial kitchen with stainless steel appliances, drains in the floor, hose so we can deckmop the sucker, and an industrial grill/stove/oven. We'd adore a walkin freezer and fridge as well. Knowing us, we'd prolly even go so far as having FIFO tags LOL!

And I can imagine we'd find a lot of ways to be thoroughly devious in such a space as well - but goodness, the cooking we could do in an industrial type kitchen *dreamy sigh* I would LOVE having that in my house.

Considering my dream kids would be to have a litter of five boys all at once, seems a kitchen like that would be ideal too. LOL!

Hey I can dream! LOL!

I can totally relate to your dream kitchen. My sister has a kitchen very much like what you describe and I always love to go over there and cook on her 12 burner, 2 large oven stove.

If I ever start dreaming about 5 kids at once though, I would hope someone would wake me up as for me that would be my worst nightmare.

OH that's my dream kitchen too. Don't forget the HUGE walk in pantry. i had a dream once that i had this big counter but what it really was, was a series of shelves. Under each shele was another one with one of my kitchen gadgets on it. All i had to do was push a button and the sheles would rotate and the gadget i needed would be there.

Say i'm going to make cookies. i hae this big counter top to get eerything ready. Hit a button and my kitchenaid mixer comes up to the top all ready to use. i told Master about this dream and He says He can make it for me!!!
Now all we need is to find a house with enough space to build this dream kitchen.

LOL! I get told that ALL the time!

But hey - one birth versus five, after the first one, they are mostly easy LOL. They can tie my tubes at that point - I'm done! LOL!

I think I'm one of the few that really would dig on having a little flock of kids to herd around, I routinely will take my friends kids and all their friends out for road trips to go to the lake, swimming, whathave you.

The parents think I'm insane, but thank me for the few hours of peace and the fact that I am capable of running all the steam out of their kids - by the time they hit home, they are beat and tired, and all that angst is out. and yes, I have WILLINGLY and happily taken on at most 14 kids to go nature hunting with me. I had a blast. No other adult could have possibly enjoyed that I don't think, besides maybe Ray - just he's just a big kid at heart too like I am LOL. We were singing at the top of our lungs, being horribly obnoxious and loud happy people - we'd have given pretty much any other adults a serious headache I think LOL. I can out screech them all I swear LOL.

I firmly believe that a lot of kids hyper-activity is due to massive amounts of visual stimulation coupled with lots of adrenaline coursing through them while playing video games, slammig down high sugary processed foods and caffienated high processed sugary drinks and staying still.

So I just let them run it out of their system. Plus I get to do the same thing! Something to be said for having an all out water war with kids to get all that silly adult angst out of your system LOL. Of course I get the worst of it. I'm slower than those hooligans are and the little devils gang up on ol Shadey. But I get them back - oh yes - youth and exuberance is no match for old age and treachery after all!

BWAHAHAHA!

Oh don't get me wrong, i just love kids. I was a very hands oon Mom and our house was the house that all of the neighborhood kids seemed to congregate at. My youngest is 18 now though. Although I get to still have fun with my nieces and nephews(they think it's awesome to have an adult that will roll around on the floor with them). But in the end, I get to send them home. Guess I am at a point in my life where now I also enjoy my peace. Although I must admit.....I am looking forward to Grandbabies one day!!!!

Did you ever think of a career in teaching?

ShadeDiva,... you just made my dick hard.

The mere glimpse of a BORLAND or MAGIC CHEF, or a HOBART anything in a kitchen or in pictures gives me a tingle in my belly.

and yeah... the "CENTER FLOOR DRAIN"... fucken 'A ! seal up everything in the kitchen, and hoze the entire thing down. dead on point.

Stainless is damn sexxy. but GOOD stainless will cost more than 1/2 the house itself....... (as I look at my COST at WHOLESALE for the items I want in my kitchen.....)

well, the woman wants a huge 8,000.00 bath tub.... I guess I could splurge :P just to save the peace.

Master cooks all the time-- he is totally into soup. My brother, also someone's Master, is a chef.

I would think it odd if a Dominant didn't cook.

My Dom enjoys cooking and so does most of the cooking, although i enjoy doing little things to help such as cutting and slicing. He cooks, i have to do the dishes and clean up. It works for us, ensures i heat healthy and he gets out of cleaning up.

I don't think my Dom has cooked one thing in the 36 yrs we've been married. If i am out of town He eats out.

Professionally? Yes I did. They don't make enough, they are dealing with overcrowding, not enough funding or supplies, and handling a lot of kids with severe problems.

I've decided that I will try to homeschool my kids and any others interested for the first few years at least. Maybe longer. I have more invested in my kids than a total stranger, and I could get a real love of learning instilled at an early age.

I don't like what I see public schools churning out overall. I myself slipped through the cracks - mostly due to the rigid system and overcrowding even that long ago, and it's a hell of a lot worse now, sadly.

So hopefully I'll get to do the teaching for the first 7 years at least.

Hell I pop an air chubby myself when I start thinking about it LOL.

Hoberts, floor to ceiling roisterrie, floor mixer, convection ovens, one of those long pizza ovens for old style pizzas, artisian breads, and calzones (with a stone of course lol) a rotating floor to ceiling rotating baker oven, full sized double fryer (so I can keep the fishy stuff separate from the other stuff) dough roller, maybe even a bagel machine!

*dreamy sigh*

And who the hell cares how MUCH it costs? LOL! Think of the equity! LOL! Some things are simply worth the extra cash. And a fine industrial kitchen that would make ol Martha green with envy and all those cooking chefs is such a thing that has that kind of worthy for the extra bucks vibe to it! LOL!

Hey if win the lottery I am SO building that kitchen! You can come over and cook in it if I do - as long as you SHARE RECIPES! LOL!
