Well, I bet what has happened is that Louisville was probably considered an automatic win back when thUg U and K State scheduled their games for this season, but unfortunately for those two teams Louisville got a LOT better. So now they are considered a quality OOC opponent instead of a punching bag, and most teams that aspire to having a shot at a national championship don't want any more than one tough OOC game per year . . . if that. So I bet SEC teams that already have tough OOC games scheduled aren't interested in adding another, and the ones who are still shopping around may look at more familiar (and marketable), names such as UCLA, Iowa, or Boston College among others. Although Louisville has been playing some good football recently, I don't think they are yet established as a marketable brand. That would make them a risky pick right now for an athletic director because by the time the games are played Petrino will probably be hired away (ask Auburn fans about THAT) and they could return to mediocrity. Although the risk that an opponent will suck exists with any team, the financial risk is mitigated if the opponent is a well established brand name. Anyway, that's my guess on it.
