Status: offline 		How cool!  My "friend" has introduced me to this website and he is 8 years younger, and that is why I asked.  Were I to commit to the lifestyle, would definitely be a sub.  Thanks!

I have played regularly with a wonderful Dominant who is some 13/14 years younger than I am, as is his wife who is even younger, but is an awesome Domme.  I've also dated men who were as much as 15 or more years younger than I am.  So, for the most part, I don't think age has much to do with it.

The biggest deal to me is compatability in both every-day (vanilla) things as well as those in this lifestyle (BDSM).  Currently, I'm spending time with a wonderful Dom who's 13 years older than me...and I'm in absolute heaven!

Status: offline 		I have found that I have prefered older woman all my life... it has its + & - but for the most part I love it.
I know on hear a lot of the subs have problems with younger doms...
Sunshine....  your "friend" (hopefully future dom) even though he might be younger than you dont knock it...LOL its hard enough to find someone you like let alone adding all kinds of crap of your own to interfear with it.

Status: offline 		From the other side: my girl is 20 years older and my boy is 3 years older. I date two men, one who is 2 years younger and one who is 8 years younger. My 1st husband was 12 years older, my second was 6 years younger. The youngest submissive I've had was 14 years younger. Age is immaterial if you click on some level.

I agree; I currently serve someone who knows more than men twice his age.  However, I agree that age does not have anything to do with it; with me it is all about the desire, knowledge and the passion for BDSM.

Status: offline 		i look at maturity rather than chronological age.  it has been extremely rare that i have served anyone who is older than i.  with very few exceptions, all i have served have been anywhere from 1 to 13 years younger.

I'm 42 and age is an issue for me.  I'd have a hard time submitting to someone substantially younger than myself.  I happen to prefer older men, who I find to be, generally less egotistical than guys in their 20s and 30s.  This isn't to say that I couldn't/wouldn't submit to someone younger, but they'd have to be pretty exceptional.

Status: offline 		Age matters to me... I prefer my subs to be at least my age or older... if I'm playing with someone else's sub, then there is more leeway, but... *shrugs*... I'm just not that comfortable playing with younger people (say, 25 or less).
