, maybe you should let it go. I think Lily is putting together a very interesting, potentially valuable, event. It would be nice to let as many novices know about this as possible. Novices? Ok, wait, since I'm getting blocked and accused of picking this event apart for a bloody frelling simple joke (complete with overly obvious smiley), lemme actually pick the thing apart, so there can be an actual reason for this insanely freakish hostility. Novices you say? Sure, it'd be nice for novices. Too bad only 1/3rd of them are invited. Or wait, I'm not sure it's just 1/3rd of them, since in half of the original post it says "new bottoms", but in the other half it invites tops and others. So which is it? 1/3rd of the new people, or all of the new people? So if it's just for new bottoms plus old bottoms/tops/switches, then where is the line of demarcation separating new from old? What're you going to do if a new top shows up and starts asking questions? Kick him out? Are we basing new/old off of age? Number of relationships? Weight? Height? Shoe size? It can't be based on anything so ephemeral as that thing called "experience" since everyone measures -that- differently, and there a bazillion plus one things to be experienced in, and not everyone is equally experienced in all. If it's for anyone, new or old, as the second half of the post suggests, then sure, this is a great thing. But why the focus on new bottoms on the first half of the post? Was it a test? A filter for HNGs or something? And I challenge any of you to actually keep the new non-bottoms with questions out of the chat room without the aid of CollarMe moderators. Dare you to try, even. Course, the lack of humor will probably scare them off on its own, but I seriously don't see how you'll manage it otherwise. EDIT: Oh, K, Lily cleared things up. Isn't it amazing how a non-bottom can ask a question and things can get answered too? Amazing how that works.</sarcasm> quote:
But this constant ping-ponging of comments (which really have little or nothing to do with the Chat session) Ain't it great how discussions evolve like that? quote:
merely strokes your ego. WHOA! You can read minds? Can you tell me how to read minds too?! It would have helped clear things up in this thread, that's for sure. quote:
And it puts barriers in the way of informing people. Right, because questions from a new non-bottom are bad, gotcha. I shant ask any more questions of anyone anywhere. </sarcasm> --- Finally, to balance out the insane amount of seriousness in this post, I leave you with the following link.
