What is it with people?  They look at your picture, get hot and bothered, ( or not), don't bother to read your profile, and feel it's a good idea to email you.  I just had to add again to mine. 
 
I keep getting emails from men who either "often am in your area on business," or are "traveling through your area in the near future," and would like to get together. 
 
I would like to know when the word submissive became the equilivant of tourist attraction?


Oh believe me when I tell you this is not just a subby being a tourist attraction thing - lol. I belong to a few non-BDSM BBW sites and get the same thing all the time!! Its infuriating to say the least. I respond the way Master suggests I do, ie ask them if they are 12 inches - lol - Master is right, it shuts them up and for the ones that reply yes I am, he suggests asking for proof!  
Seriously though just ignore and delete.

Status: offline 		After I got sick and tired of random people messaging me to "train me" and asking me to "be their slut" obviously showing me they paid no attention to detail (which is not a quality I look in in a Dom btw), I put it up, in bold, twice in my profile that I have a Dom and am not here for anything more than conversation and reading the message board (i'm a huge lurker, since these threads seem to blow up faster than I can keep track of, and my opinion is usually already stated).  It helped cut down a bit, but everytime someone msgs me now I just show my Sir and have him deal with it... good times for both of us, I suppose.  I get to appreciate his jealousy and he gets to feel more protective over me.

But on to the "why?"

1) They are uncultured assholes who haven't a clue about the impropriety of their behavior.

2) They are cultured assholes who have more than a clue but decide consciously to behave the way they do. (Cost efficiency, was how one ostensible Dom I know put it. "If I send out 100 two-line notes to 100 different subs I'll end up playing with 2-3 of them. That's an efficient use of my time!")

3) They have been burnt by miscommunication and dishonest communication. Doms read a sub's profile that she isn't a masochist and then see her getting flogged in the dungeon the next weekend. They read somebody saying she's just online to chat and discover her in a relationship a month later. Or they hear some person say "Oh, I didn't know I was into ... X" or "Bob just swept me off my feet about ... Y" or "Oh! Did I write ... Z? I didn't really think about it." A lot of the guys I've met who are in group 2 above know this and play on it.

Personally, I like to assume that the women in whom I might be interested is honest enough to me to accurately describe who she is and what she wants and honest enough with herself to know those things.

If I get burnt, and I have been, I stop seeing the person and go back to my search. I don't fit myself into categories 2 or 3.

But I know people who do. And I have a pretty good idea of why they do it. I don't have to approve of why and I don't; but I know why.

Maybe it's just me but, I've always felt head removal was a smidge extreme for asking someone out.


I agree with you LTR...especially when we are not sure which head she is wanting to rip off...I mean, to do either would be extreme but you have extreme and you have EXTREME!

this is my first impression of them!

So your telling me I have 2-3 % of the subs to thank for this???  LOL  I get the economics of it.

Usually painfully-worded notifications of overseas windfalls, discount deals on  misspelled pharmaceuticals, and the occasional bit of lackluster porn. The "Hey, how 'bout some NSA sexin'" folder is usually empty. Perhaps i need more pharmaceuticals?

Perhaps you need to have a word with your local Chamber of Commerce.

I can't believe how many people (including one lesbian, so not All of them are men) who tell me they can turn Me into Their 'slut', 'slave', etc. lol

Sometimes we need to be bigger people and just delete, and sometimes we indulge ourselves with a scathing reply. I consider the latter a treat to myself. :)
