Lots of people complain because they get no replies to their profiles. You complain because your getting too many you dont like. I'd say youre doing better than average. Sooner or later you might get one you do like! Hows that for a thought.

I keep getting emails from men who either "often am in your area on business," or are "traveling through your area in the near future," and would like to get together.

I would like to know when the word submissive became the equilivant of tourist attraction?

I don't know, but "Domme" apparently is the equivalent of tourist attraction as well, as I get these replies frequently.  I have done the same thing and put something in My profile specifically stating that this does not interest Me.  The dumbest one I got this week was from a dominant male (I also clearly state in profile I am not at all interested in male doms) who will be in Dallas for one week in December and wants to "explore his submissive side."  He then proceeded to tell Me exactly what he wanted to do and have done to him.  Talk about an offer I CAN refuse, LOL.

Guess it boils down to people not reading profiles before they feel the need to fire off an e-mail.

I get these all the time.  I find them funny, becasue I live in VEGAS! If I were to entertain every sub and Dom that came to my town and offered, Id never have any time to myself.
Ive about given up on expecting people to read my profile.  It says I have my boy and I am not looking at all.. which hasnt stopped the offers yet. I think it stil says something about I am not going to make an exception to not looking just becaue your visiting my city either...

LOL   for the flaw in that logic, please see all the threads floating around complaining that folks keep emailing but don't read profiles at all.

Sophia, why would I EVER like an email for a "fly by" when what I am looking for would require someone local???  Especially when my profile states quite clearly I am not looking for a long distance relationship.

Well the last time I checked those HNG's havent gone away. Just for shits and giggles I opened a profile as a woman to see how bad it is said to be. Well my results were of the most pathetic type of loosers out there. Unfortunatly there will always be those F'n trolls to spoil things. As for your ? Im not sure but I would venture to say that it has been that way since online chat/dating sites have been around. Oh yea dont you know that submissives are easy to get! LMAO

HNG = Horny Net Geek

I also get those 'tourist attraction' will be in your area emails and I don't have a pic up, sexy or otherwise.
In the past, I've answered, "That's great, lets do dinner. I'll gather all my family and friends to the meeting, maybe a good restaurant or coffee shop. They don't know about this side of me, so you won't be allowed to talk about ANYTHING related to BDSM. Do you think dinner will take about an hour? I can pencil that amount of free time in".

Fast reply:
If anyone wants to reply to an idiotic email that is quite contrary to what their profile states, and would like to keep the offender on their toes with a "WTF, was I just insulted?" response, then there are some lovely be-littling terms available at http://www.worldwidewords.org/weirdwords/ww-slu1.htm none of which need expletives or anything else to pad them out. You can be perfectly polite, toss one of those in and walk away.........

What is it with people?  They look at your picture, get hot and bothered, ( or not), don't bother to read your profile, and feel it's a good idea to email you.  I just had to add again to mine.

If you don't like it then change or eliminate your picture.

lol....am sorry I was staring at her boobs and I am not even bi to my knowledge.  Well am going to slink back under my rock now.  I guess that is why I just have a face pic up.  Mine are just average sized..and I am feeling a tad bit inadequate here...lol. In all seriousness though...I used to get a ton of those messages from guys traveling through town on business.  I just responded with what do I look like....the Houston welcome wagon?  Then they would try the...well we could just meet up for dinner or drinks tactic.  I would say sure...I have a Dom friend I can bring with me.  He is black and he is a big guy.  But he is friendly and likes to dine out and things. Since you just want to meet up for drinks and dinner am sure you won't mind.  The more the merrier.  No harm in a hanging out and meeting others in the lifestyle to just talk with.  They usually never messaged me back after that for some odd reason.

I'm on my way...  how much are you charging for tickets?  We could be a 2-for-1 deal, split the profits.  Sound ok?
