Status: offline 		I don't hate the holidays, even though it's a stressful time of year.  They became even more special when one of my UM's was born on Christmas day.

Status: offline 		UM's = "unmentionables" as in children (shorthand way of saying kids, but since talk of kids is basically against TOS, people usually change it to "unmentionables")

I was born on Xmas eve, so I know the birthday/holiday dynamic. It does tend to make the holidays easier to know that I get one day to make things about me, even if the rest of the week is about, well, other bad people. Happy birthday to your UM from me.

Too busy working for a living to get any of them in action, but still, its the thought that counts I guess.

Status: offline 		for me it makes no difference whether i have a significant other or not I would love to just rip off the months of november and decmber off of the calendar.

Since i was a kid my mom destroyed the holidays for me...and well somethings are just not able to be changed...they were totally destroyed and well even when i was married i tried like heck to get intot he spirit and well i wen tthorugh the motions  but never felt it...andnow that i am not married anymore i sooo wish the former hubby would just take the kids for the holidays and just let me be alone!  it would be far easier on ME!
