Thank you Level and Happy Turkey Day to you as well.

We are having the kink friendly group over for a less formal turkey dinner on Saturday.

And hopefully kudos will soon be in order; Jewel's new male arrives Saturday as well. He is vanilla but Scooter and i think she can correct that issue given time.

Well good . Now, if he's vanilla, does he know about D/s? Is he a live-in? Enquiring minds want to know!

He is an anniversary present to Jewel from her lesbian daughter and her life mate.

I can't wait to see what they are giving Scooter, lmao......

LOL.... a wedgie?? ....sounds veddddy interestink, twice.

You probably like other people's errors because you have other things besides your ego that end up having flagging issues.

Apart from the lousy construction and the dig at "me vitals" I cant find much wrong with this post. LOL

Keen to say something about "couth"  in post below, so I will....is it really a noun?

There are various levels of educated people (or uneducated people) in this country.  Some can spell, some can not.  There are also various levels of compassion, couth and class in this country too.

He knows a little as Jewel's daughter and her girl friend know a lot, lol.

Yes he will be moving in by Monday we think.

I doubt she would do that, she adores Scooter. Actually she says getting her mom the male is a present for Scooter in the long run.

Amen, sister!   I met my husband through match.com many moons ago and I'm not ashamed to say that his eloquence and correct spelling started things off wonderfully.

I do the their, there thing all the time. I know the difference, but who cares. I just type, if it was a paper for a grade, it would be correct everytime, but as this doesn't really matter, except to those who have somehow based THEIR self esteem on the most trivial of tasks, I have better things to do.

Sure, poorly constructed sentences up THERE, but I doubt anyone has a problem deciphering the meaning.

There is only one person on here I can't translate virtually instantlly. And that's the ja guy, mmnoternal(something like that). But even then I can generally figure it out if I try to.

If life is so good, spelling can upset you, count your blessings life is good or meds might help.

IMHO.

Could one of you nice people please tell this newbie how to find CM's spell-checking (note hyphen ) function? It's not obvious, no matter doggedly I stare at my screen.

Fwiw, this professional editor can attest that proofing on screen is a real challenge. If I'm serious about editing/proofing something, I always print it out.

I like this thread ...keep the errors coming folks...boost my flagging ego !

I saw that tooooooooooo!

Fwiw, this nitpicky editor thinks flagging was used correctly in that instance.

Perhaps even more pertinent to the thread is the fact that (forgive me, Professor Strunk!) people have varying degrees of typing ability.

Harumph.... . Kidding aside, look above you on your Reply to Message box, and spot an ABC with a check mark beneath it.

Thanks, Level, but I honestly don't see it. Maybe it's a Mac/Safari thing.

Hmmm. Okay, when you're typing, do you see a "Font Face" box... then "Size"....? If so, see if you don't see these three next: <%,  a "text cloud" like they use in comics, then the ABC thing. If not, you may be right, dc...

I've got pull-downs for "Font Fsce" and "Font Size," then a question-mark button and a "Quote Original" button. No ABC, alas. I guess I'm on my own for spelling! Thanks for the help, though!

True but my point to this thread was more about the need to bring other people's deficiencies to light, thus possibly causing people with good hearts and good intentions to feel inept.
