Nicely done.

I was looking for kinds of beer which your answer does provide.  Each kind of beer has different properties which is what you descibed.

My Source:  http://beer.about.com/od/germanbeers/tp/10GermanBeers.htm

Please make the next question.

Wow! I was completely confused on that one. Yet got it. LOL

I leave for a week to deal with finals and I lose my ability to come up with these things off the top of My head...I'll go with an easy one..

Hymie
Lola
Evelyn
MacGregor

Edited because I haven't slept in 3 days and can't spell worth a crap.

Wait, now I'm confused. Didn't SDFemDom4cuck solve this one? Maybe I can't follow what's happening since I nothing about beer, especially compared to you all.

Here's a set of four, but it's probably way too easy:

Top
Bottom
Strange
Up

Petruchio and mnottertail got the quark puzzle right away.

As for the one still on the table, all I can come up with some Scottish connection? Lola doesn't really work, though. Sheesh. I'll think some more, and, hopefully, someone else will figure it out!

The common element of "top, bottom, strange, up" is that they are all quarks. The word "quark" was invented by James Joyce, which was how mnottertail identified the common thread, pointing out that they were "discovered" by Einstein (Bert E.); Petruchio put "quarks" in the subject line.

Okay, let's think:

Hymie Weiss (gangster)
Lola (a showgirl from the Copa) or Falana (singer, dancer)
Evelyn Waugh (British writer)  or Wood (speedreader)
Ewan MacGregor (actor)

Still not working . . . Must get new brain . . .
