A kid my moms babysat gave her one of those cute kids Valentine's cards that come in a pack with different sayings and pictures. The one she got was so perfect saying, "Wooden Shoe Be Mine?" Love it!

1891 - Memory of Azov Egg
Dimensions: Length 9.3 cm (3.7 inches)

This egg is carved from a solid piece of heliotrope jasper, also known as bloodstone. It is decorated in the Lous XV style with a superimposed gold pattern of rococo scrolls, studded with diamonds and chased gold flowers. The clasp is set with a drop ruby and two diamonds. The egg's interior is lined with green velvet.

The surprise is a miniature replica of the cruiser Pamiat Azova (Memory of Azov), executed in red and yellow gold as well as platinum, with small diamonds for windows. The name "Azov" appears on the ship's stern. The ship is set on a piece of aquamarine representing the water. The aquamarine plate has a golden frame with a loop enabling the model to be removed from the egg.

The egg commemorates the voyage made by Czarevitch Nicolai and Grand Duke George to the Far East in 1890.

The trip was made after a suggestion by their parents to broaden the outlook of the future Czar and his brother. At the time, Grand Duke George was suffering from tuberculosis and the voyage only exacerbated it. Czarevitch Nicolai was also the victim of an attempted assassination whilst in Japan and sustained a serious head wound. The Czarina was presented with the egg before these events occurred and it was never one of her favorite eggs.

This is one of the few [Faberge] eggs that has never left Russia. It is currently held in the Kremlin Armoury Museum in Moscow.

It is the Czarina Alexandria. She wore these long sautoir of pearls her husband gave her, that hung to her waist. I ought to have pluralized Faberge Eggs, she collected them, they collected her. Their fleet of Navy ships was attacked, in 1904 in their war with Japan. There were special icons sent by Alexandria on the fleet.

It is a tragedy how it went down but it was not the Japanese who attacked the ships. Due to a series of unfortunate events and a drunken Captain they gunned down a British fishing trawler, then hearing the guns he other Russian ships open-fired on each other, thinking and being misinformed, assuming the ships were Japanese ships. The chaplain had his head blown clean off. The fleet had been out less than a week. Russia paid big money in damages,

In 1905 the Japanese did take down a fleet of Russian ships in less than 3 quarters of an hour. The Russians lost 20 major warships and over 4,300 sailors were killed.

BLEAH!  Actually, the Colorado is a Western slope river - exits into the Gulf of California (between the Baja Penisula and mainland Mexico.)

SO.... the answer to "Rivers with their headwaters along the east side of the continental divide?"  is "Nope.  The Colorado River does not."

Nope.  The Arkansas River joins the Mississippi before the Mississippi enters Louisiana.
The Gunnison River joins the Colorado before the Colorado enters Utah.
So, two aren't tidal for sure.  I believe the Colorado is.

C'mon, folks..... I need a SUBSTANTIAL answer.  We're NOT talking little tidal pools, we're not talking east/west.  The answer could be resounding.....

That may be true, and your answer could probably be considered "substantial."  Is your answer "resoundingly" true?  I doubt it.  There are hundreds, if not thousands of such "naked fishing" spots.  There are only a handful of rivers (I do believe) that could be on this list.

Now, for an almost give-away hint......
poise: if you were fishing naked at the places on these rivers that I am looking for as an answer, you would only add to the scenic view.

Status: offline 		See.... this is how the game is played.  The name of the game is "What Do these Things Have In Common?"

The tulip puzzle was more the reverse of "What Thing Has All These Things In Common?"
And the Czarina puzzle the same.

I guess I'm saying that the answer should be a PROPERTY, not an item.  List four items that have a property in common.  What the tulip and czarina puzzles were each a list of four properties and one was to guess the item.  That's why I was looking for ships and Faberge eggs and pearls.  There is an egg with a yatch and pearls.... close, but no cigar.  Once I had the eggs, I was going to look and see  if the years of presentation meant anything.... years of war with Japan?  Very odd for this old dog. LOL!

Poor dcnovice (who is the moderator for this game) was confused!

Here's a trivial example:

1) Broccoli
2) Green Beans
3) Zucchini
4) Green Peas

Ans: green vegetables

1) Broccoli
2) Cauliflower
3) I forget
4) Cabbage

Posted by fluff when she was discovering her cancer.... Ans: Cuniform vegetables....
