I think you have an incredible profile! It's so refreshingly real and down to earth. It doesn't reek of the typical 'Domier than Dom' dry material that many contain. It contains variety, and information about yourself both in and outside the lifestyle, which creates a wonderful balance!

Thanks, Angel, that is quite a compliment. I checked your profile, and found it refreshing, too. Good reading, and a very nice picture.

If I were lucky enough to live near you, I'd be scheming to "just bump into you" at some kind of R/L event. LOL

Thanks again...............Bob (DesertRat)

lola,
Does having a preference and current ownership of two cats indicate I am subliminally submissive? Of course I can say they are beth's cats, however, that would get into another debate about a slave having any ownership of anything. But I will use your problem with dress ripping as yet another rationalization of keeping beth nude. - THANKS!

btw - Every so often "evil Merc" will dangle some bobble for the cats to play with from beth's nipple clips. Try training a dog to do that!

Hmmm....I've never involved my cats in kinky play. Maybe that should be explored? And mentioned in my profile?

Bob,
I love the fact that an obvious attempt at getting a lot of subs and slaves to read your profile has worked out so well. This is one of the longest threads around, a fact I find quite amusing. I wonder, how well will you treat your next slave?

Kittie,

Yes, it has worked out well and I find it amusing, too. If you're really wondering about the treatment of my next slave, we can keep you posted. As for the longevity of the thread, it's not as long-lived as it appears. I started it back in March, but it lay dormant for a long time. I recently revived it, asking some earnest questions about recent revisions. Since that 'revival' there haven't really been too many recent postings. It looks like it's starting to fade now, which is okay.

Take care,
Bob

First, let me say your cats are awesome! ^_^

If I weren't collared and happy, I'd send you a message.

Just thought I'd toss in my two cents about felines...

... They're terribly independent, think they own the world and knows we all owe them something. They'll tell you when they want affection, food or to be let outside to play. They also remember when the Egyptians worshipped them as gods... they'll never let us forget it.

Not all cats are independent. Mine are very attentive. Not slavishly so, but they are faithful, devoted companions. And very interactive and affectionate. Great pals. They are the most important thing about me. The best thing I ever did was to find those two strays and bring them in, get them healthy, and give them a home with lots of love. I wonder if I will ever do anything again that equals that in importance. Got a long life ahead, so one never knows, right?

I wouldn't mind some feedback on my profile either....Haven't had any responses, granted I'm very new, but can always use feedback and advice.

Seems okay. It doesn't really tell much about you, and doesn't have any photos, though. I find the photos help. Also, going into more detail about who I am and what I want has saved me from some problems, too. For example: the "No Republicans" warning in my journal keeps me from having to...ummm...deal with Republicans *grins*

Alright, thanks desert....I've updated the profile a bit. Yes i tend to ramble on written things as there's noone around to give me a glazed glass eyed stare to remind me to stay on track when I'm writting (yes that's one example of my humor, sorry, it's not always this lame).

Also I think you give Republican's a bad rap. I voted Bush, and despite the current politcal situation I still think it was the right choice. The idea of Gore or Kerry dealing with these things, frankly, scares the bejesus out of me. Hopefully, though, McCain is going to throw his hat into the ring next go around.

I don't care how you voted. I was just pointing out how stating personal preferences can avoid problems. Or, at least, what works for me.
