To the OP, I dunno... for me, it's just a lot of fun, on many levels. But being on the receiving end has been seen as submissive in cultures as far back as the Antiquity, with the exception of the Greeks. It appears as an act of dominance among heterosexual men (e.g. prison rape). Also, attempts to mount other males is something that many different animals practice as a part of their dominance games. It would seem that, as far as nature is concerned, this is an expression of dominance. The interesting question is why human males practice it with females. Are they simply transposing a primally dominant act to a different context, or does this- on a primal level- imply an admission of a "threat" to dominance that requires one to employ the usual dominance games to reassert dominance over the other party? I've been asking myself that, but not coming up with a good answer, so "it's fun" suffices for now.
