You are right. I didn't know it could be spelled two ways, apparently it can. Either that or my patterns have been spelling it wrong for yeeears.

So we'll change the last to "perl OR purl"

But thats still not telling me the odd one out. ;)

I'd guess 'slip', because I think the others are used in knitting.
