assuming it was a typo. 3 are physical manifestations and one is mental or emotive

Aw, shucks, I have no idea. All I can come up with is that "swallow hard" may not be a sign of hypothermia while the others would fall into that category, if one assumes that one is afraid when nearly freezing to death. Hints, please!

close, actually susan is a character in it's a wonderful life (zuzu) Mr.Potter is the only character in it's a wonderful life who's name was not given to a Seasame Street character.

Ten points to Ravenclaw (I'm guessing that's Lorelei's house since its emblem is a bird)!

Your turn.

Heh heh.. Ravenclaw, yup, that's me.

Of course if I was so smart I'd have one of these ready already, wouldn't I? But as usual I'm caught unprepared. Sooo an easy one.

The Ball
The Crackers
Your Pants
A Hint

I think "The Crackers" is the only one you wouldn't precede with "Drop."

Oh! That is so clever!

Let's see if my answer styx:

Tantalus, because he was merely immersed in water. The others are all mythological waters, rivers actually.

Well Done!

I'm reading some classics again during winter break. Since you got it right you get to post a new quartet.
