LotusSong -> Fashions that NEED to DIE! (12/3/2006 8:19:57 PM)

I'll start with my pet peeves about the Guy styles:

Baseball caps worn backwards or sideways. (Is the bill THAT much a problem???)

(both above was commented on by Carlos Mensia as "being only 5 seconds away from giving a blow job)

Baggy shorts that are below the knee and look like coulottes

(I long for the styles of the 60's and 70's that displayed thier manly bulges and tight butts!!!)

Oversized pants with the underwear showing.

(I just want to pants them when I see them.  Didn't momma show them how to dress?  Did the Grrr-animal tag fall off?)

Sunglasses resting on the BACK of their head while still hooked to their ears!

Knee length swimsuits.  These are NOT sexy looking at all
(but then I don't think Borat's  lime green thong is either.  Maybe it's just him.)

Black socks, sandles, with white pants and matching  belt and canary yellow sport shirt

(Ladies..this is what you have to look forward to when you hit my age.  It's nothing to look forward to)

Scruffy beards.. the length of a perpetual three day growth frozen in time.

(And Guys wonder why we like the GAY guys.  They are impeccably dressed.)

Ok add on.. this is for both sexes.. Guys and Gals.  I just got it started.

Agreed fully on the underwear showing bit.  I'm a middle-school teacher, and I usually let the boys know that they look like my son (age 1 yr 3 mth) with a full diaper when the crotch of their jeans is hanging down at their knees, and the bottoms of their bunched-up pant legs are stained with whatever puddles they've walked through.

As to the Grrr-animals bit, I have to bristle a little.  I'm color-blind, and I only ever wear Dockers or jeans, because I've been told that nearly everything will match those.  I know enough not to wear a dark shirt with the dark pants, but that's about the best fashion sense you'll get from me.

Perms- 98% of people who have them look horrible with them and do not maintain them.

Hair cuts that have long bangs and short hair

Any hair cut that hasn't been revised in the last 5 years.

Any part of bras showing when there are clothes over the bra

Leather coats without a clear waist line for females

All you have to do with the Grr Animals is match the little animals.. No need to see colors or patterns. :)

darchChylde -> RE: Fashions that NEED to DIE! (12/3/2006 8:32:47 PM)

i think guys should wear belts, properly... pants and jeans are intended to go around the waist

i can't stand it when women wear bra's that you can see through her top; unless it matches, that is

i'd appreciate it if women would stop wearing pajama bottoms out in public... in general i think it's cute and very nice the way they so completely hug their ass, but it's not attire intended for the general public

those Ug boots, i live in southern california; even though ir's starting to cool off, there's still no need for snow shoes

women who wear heels to a bar or club and run around in stocking feet because they hurt... they know their feet will hurt before the night is over, just wear comfortable shoes or bring a pair in the car; i wear combat boots and i'll crush their toes

that's all for now

maleinmaryland -> RE: Fashions that NEED to DIE! (12/3/2006 8:33:47 PM)

and females in pajamas in the mall.  Since when did bedroom attire become mall attire?

spanxalot15 -> RE: Fashions that NEED to DIE! (12/3/2006 8:34:27 PM)

Yes, but they don't make them for 39-year-olds...

DiurnalVampire -> RE: Fashions that NEED to DIE! (12/3/2006 8:49:34 PM)

Major fashion pet peeve...
Bra straps that show, if you are going to wear a T-back tank top, for pity sake, invest in a bra that will be covered under it.

Bra straps that show

This is Daddy's as well...  It's funny bc in the last three and a half years, I don't think I've had a strap fall into the public view!  [:D]

DiurnalVampire -> RE: Fashions that NEED to DIE! (12/3/2006 9:45:04 PM)

I would also dare to say no one should venture out of the house wearing anything that is several sizes too SMALL.  I tell you, I swear people think just becasue they are visiting Vegas they have to see how slutty they can dress the entire time they are here.  If you dont have the body to be in a size 3, dont try and squeeze into it.  It doesnt make you look better!

Wait aren't these dead yet? Tell me they are. They were horrible enough the first time around.

Ugg boots worn with miniskirts

Dresses worn over jeans (I just don't get that)

I have seen some lurking about and I was repulsed.  My friend lives in MI and says that there seems to be a heavy mullet population in parts of the state.  *sigh*  Isn't there a vaccine?

Noooooo! I think there needs to be a band of volunteers that roam the country wielding scissors and shavers combating this vile atrocities. Any volunteers?
