When I split with my ex....we had rather an extensive toy collection...the things that were originally his stayed with him, the things that were originally mine stayed with me.
All insertables stayed with me.
Our main thing was the violet wand, in the end it was decided he kept it and he gave me a couple of the items I favoured in return, for example, one of the paddles we chose together that he paid for, a flogger that was the same, a set of restraints I really loved etc....
It all worked out well, gave me a good basis for my toy collection to start growing again, and oh my it is growing and everyones happy..
Theres also the plus side that he'd my housemate and more than happy to lend my Dom the wand etc when he isnt using it himself :D
I'm very lucky in that I came out of the relationship with a very good friend, it was the reason we parted because the dynamic had gone though the strong friendship remained, I can see how it would be hard if the split was not amicable though.
Nope, only thing my ex and i are likely to squabble over when our house is sold is who gets what from the DVD collection :D
