Oh how your tone has changed eh?

You popped up on DominantDesires_submissiveserenity at the end of October
posting things like this when the subject of TSR came up:

quote:

Tanos and I have bantered back and forth about his theoirys
regarding IE since about 1997... we are (as I mentioned)
aquaintences and I did (as mention) pop him off an email about this

even though I didn't know you from Adam. I never got any
email.

I only found out about that group because you went on to make
false claims about TSR's funding, and your unfounded and false
allegation that "those people who register ... and probably
are going to get spammed for their minor effort at administrative
fervor..." - a serious allegation that you don't have the decency
to withdraw.

And here you are, still making false claims about "us" and our
"conversations" about IE back before the idea was even created.
Why? Well, here's another of your posts from there:

quote:

wrote to Tanos last night (for those of you who are old, as I am,

which has quite a following.

"old, as I am".

Rather than all these faulty references to your "oldness" and
your name-dropping (you could pick on a Brame or a Jacobs,
surely, rather than just a guy with a couple of popular
websites ;) ), why not stick to posting what you really do
know and try letting whatever it is that you genuinely do know
shine through?

And leave me out of it.

Thank you missturbation!  I will have to share that site with all my friends!

LordODiscipline -> RE: Slave Registers? (12/5/2006 4:25:43 AM)

LOL
Oh my Lord -

If you want to debate and discuss the specifics - write to me personally, but cross posting is something that is rather frowned on here... (That whole TOS thing)

However, you do make money on the site - not what you might desire or that which is required to recouperate the amount spent - but, that was the jist of your angst.

YOU might not recall me - (and, that is convenient) - you might not believe me - and, that is fortuitous - but, it is not false as you allege.

As I said - you really are amazing in the stubborness you display... [;)]

Silvermoon -> RE: Slave Registers? (12/5/2006 4:48:21 AM)

I have my slave registry number on TATTOED on my back. I tend to think I'm one of the more serious out there. In some social circles it's taken seriously, not so much as a registry in general, but as a symbol. I had mine done when  I took my first collar, as a surprise at my collaring ceremony as I knelt to him. He wept, I'd say some take it very seriously indeed. This entire lifestyle nay, life in general is about symbology. And sometimes those symbols mean more to one person than to another.
Many tears, heart-ache, times of joy, pain and pleasure and finally, personal fulfillment and personal acceptance went into mine. I earned it in my heart, so..not, it's not silly.

A wheelchair access sign, a bdsm symbol, a first aid cross, a totem, a badge....

My Two Cents
Silver
(editted to add - my tattoo is ON the slave registry photo section - proudly)

So put up or shut up then.

Where were these debates that occured in "the mid nineties", "from 1997"
or whatever made up date you're going to pluck out of the air next?

You're bullshitting: putting on airs and graces ("for those of you who
are old, as I am") to puff yourself up, like the peddlers of Ancient
European Houses myths. You know something or someone or some
place, but can't quite remember what or when or how or why
whenever anyone asks you to be specific.

As I said, leave my name out of your playacting.

LordODiscipline -> RE: Slave Registers? (12/5/2006 5:54:36 AM)

LOL...

Well - if nothing else you are fun to watch.

I went to your now quasi-dead Yahoo group and tried to recall if it was there - it was formed in 2000 and it was there that I apparently saw you flopping about (as you are now) and trying to "prove your worth" through your beliefs and getting in circular never ending arguments like this one...

I came to that group from another one at the time where you were doing the same thing - getting in non-fun pissing contests with people who had differing opinions and running it to the ground this way by making it personal and twisting things to suit your world rather than reality (do you still get the headaches?)

As I mentioned - I might not remember dates off the top of my head (I am not imbued with the 'infalliblity of total recall' that you appear to demand of others) -  but, I definitively had you pegged back then as you are now.

This thread was about the viability of your site (whether it is something that is useful of cyber play)- and, you're trying to toss up smoke to take it away from there by slamming about.

Typical for you.

As I said - write to me if you desire - but, you and I already went through this once - and, you looked rather silly at that point too.

But, thank you for playing.

darksdesire -> RE: Slave Registers? (12/5/2006 6:44:22 AM)

Beginning a a thread by saying what others do is "silly" is bound to do one thing:  bring up lots of emotional and heated conflict.  When you ridicule something that might have significant symbolic meaning, you are being insensitive, and narrow minded, not much different from those who define what we do as silly or dangerous.

How would it be if i walked into a church and told it's members that i thought baptism was "silly" and indicates a desperate attempt to grant themselves ligitimacy for something they haven't earned.  Like it or not, most people are drawn toward the symbolic as a means of making illusive and difficult to describe inner truths into something concrete.  We do it all the time. Many people treat the American flag with deep reverance, following a set of rules on how to raise and lower and store it.  We have marriage ceremonies that register our marriage with the state, we have  funerals, award ceremonies....we do this symbolic stuff all the time.  When a particular symbol or ritual happens to be meaningless to someone, it may indeed seem silly to the observer.  So what.  Enjoy your own symoblic gestures and leave others to their own.

LordODiscipline -> RE: Slave Registers? (12/5/2006 6:51:38 AM)

Tell you what -

After this - I will deny knowing you at all ;)

You and I discussed (and I watched you discuss ad nauseum with others)  IE (in the distant past by memory).

We exchanged Email... I have you in my account (UKTanos and another one).

You also quoted my writing in an article you wrote several years ago.

As I stated - per your statement that it was IE was coined in 2000 - I was incorrect in the date I conjured up from memory... mea culpa, dude.

I shall definitively flagelate myself at a later time with something light and fluffy.

LOL...

Other than that - if you could possibly find me all of the on line groups (IRC, UseNet, Yahoo, Excite, ICQ, VP, AOL, etc.) that  I belonged to -and- which have disappeared into the ether realm of 'cybervillia' - I will be sure to find out specifically where else you were behaving like the south side of a north bound mule.

I am sure the places are prolific and less than memorable.

To be fair, you apparently do not recall... but, you are trying to make a point that was old three postings ago.

Other than that - you can now definitively be considered an 'obsessive personality'...

But, I am really beginning to appreciate what your charges must suffer when they misplace the car keys...

Good luck with that.

Does anyone know how to block posts from someone.. I for one am getting really tired of the constant pissing contests going on in this thread between LoD and Tanos..

Yes.  Just hit the block button under both of their posts.

Oh Red... if you block it then you won't get your share of popcorn & freshly baked cookies that are passed around at FecalFlinging Demonstrations. You'll also walk into many threads & find holes all through them since the main players of FF tend to post everywhere & drama ensues.

Tell ya what, I'll share my Gallagher quality, Sledge-o-matic tested Poncho until you get your own.

We could just take this oppurtunity to take over this thread from a piss contest to a flame war? It's just a thought.

I have a poncho with Pee Wee Hermans Saying "I know you are, but what am I!!" I put on whenever I start up the computer.

I'm not trying to jump in this argument, but I read the Internal Enslavement website years ago and enjoyed it. I found some valuable ideas and articles there. I looked recently and it appears to still be operating. As far as the slave registry thing, it doesn't interest me.

LordODiscipline -> RE: Slave Registers? (12/5/2006 2:44:24 PM)

Oh, no - IE is something interesting and unique in that it brings one point of perspetive to 'slavery' not often considered by the normal meandering masses...

Not a thing against THAT web site might I spew.

That whole 'registry' thing though - LOL...
