One of the biggest complaints that I hear from women is that their men don't last long enough. I always attributed that to sensitivity...not a lack of it. Most men in this country are circumcized....actually I must admit I have never even seen one that wasn't in an "in the flesh" kind of way. But I have never heard a man say "Gosh, my cock is just not sensitive enough".

Status: offline 		What I've found, and had corrobborated by males that I've known (shush, yes, I talk to my guy friends about sex stuff :P) that a good way to help with the "not lasting long enough" is to either jack them or blow them to an orgasm and once they recoup, the sex generally lasts longer.

interesting, i've noticed just the opposite. my ex was uncircumcized and he had a major problem with lack of sensitivity. for instance, although he enjoyed it, he could never orgasm from oral sex because he just couldn't get enough sensation. after we broke up he went and got himself cut, now he can't stop talking about "the world of sensation" that's been opened up to him. he's even managed to cum from oral.

You poor, poor undernourished and underexposed girl...

I am uncircumsized and I think that the glans of my penis is more sensitive than those of my circumsized brothers. 

I base this on the following:  after an orgasm, I jump away from any touch to the glans.  Several women have noted this while tongueing or rubbing there after orgasm and have remarked on how they'd never had that happen with circumsized guys.  In all honesty, while I can bear some light stroking and tongueing directly to the glans before orgasm, I have to admit that too much, even before orgasm, will drive my cute self right up the wall.

I checked and no one else answered so I will *S* 

If you look at your clit when unaroused you will see a fold of skin that covers the clit like the foreskin does on a penis. When a girl is aroused this usually draws back on it's own as the clit becomes engorged. If you want to pull it back yourself  the easiest way is to place a finger just above the clit tip and pull the hood back. It does not draw really far back, maybe a centimeter at most, probably less, but this brings the nerve bundled head of the clit out of the sheath and exposes it. You can tell the difference between the hood  and the clit itself as the hood is a soft fold of skin while the clit is firmer and trust me you'll feel the difference

To make what your are doing easier to see, hold a mirror down there and watch in the mirror.

She talks about the rising popularity of "vaginal rejuvenation" or "vaginoplasty." These procedures have absolute no purpose in increasing pleasure, they are simply to make the vulva and labia more visually pleasing, or as Levy states "more like the genitals one sees in Playboy or pornography." Levy proposes, among other things, that women are too concerned with trying to look like sex workers, strippers, porn stars, etc. and less focused on exploring their unique brand of sexual expression. I agree with her on this point. Vagina's have come in all shapes and sizes for centuries and I see nothing unsanitary or unnattractive about large, small, purple, or green labia, as long as a woman can feel pleasure.

I agree.

But just as I have no problem with a woman dying her hair, wearing a bra, putting on a shiny black dress, and brushing their teeth to try and create an image they consider pleasing, decorative, and inspirational to themselves...I have no problem extending this to elective physical surgery as well.

I think that Levy's argument (and I concur) is that women spend too much time trying to look like the women we associate with sexual pleasure--porn stars, strippers, nude models--whose job it is to FAKE pleasure. She says that we try so hard to look like we are sexy, that we end up spending less time figuring out exactly what it is that makes us feel sexy.

If having your labia chopped off makes you feel sexy and liberated- then go for it!

Oh I agree we should spend less time trying to look so hard to be sexy and should certainly not limit what is "sexy" to what some fantasy ideal is (though there's nothing wrong in using it for inspiration).

But porn stars and whores and such are certainly not about "fake pleasure"- the pleasure is very real and a very important cog in the network of human sexuality.
