aaaccckk well I suppose that as long as noone plans on having any kids...or possibly intercourse again   sure should work fabulously!   the labis are attached to the lateral edgesof the vagina...scar tissue is not easily stretched...giving birth is difficult with an intact vaginal opening is difficult  but have an squirming unmentionable come out foloowing scrifying the areaa  ...youch   rip... tear....ouch.....stitch stich stich..

Not to mention the fact that havignthe clitorus constantly exposed, now that we are adult women and have spent the better part of our lives with it protected,  the clitorus would be intensely irritated on an ongoign basis!  it would be similar to an adult male getting circumsized as an adult the head of the penis is insensely sensitive and honestly the one person i know who was clipped at 35 was in agont for the better part of 6 month...as for sex...he was sooo not interested because he kept having the area stimulated all day. And it was on overload all the time!

2 years ago, i'd not heard of this.  since then, i've heard from one female through message boards about how she'd had this done and how much a benefit it as been to her and due to that i've had it come up in discussion with two females i've known as acquaintances that have also had it done and reported the same experience with it.

personally, i'd try a vertical hood piercing first.

The pleasure is very real--it just isn't the woman's pleasure, in 999 cases out of 1000.  No one can orgasm as many times a day as most whores have to pretend to.  And the vast majority of female pornstars don't last more than 3 years in the business--the average male duration in the biz is more like the 10.  The difference?  Real orgasms.  The women who actually DO really orgasm on screen are the ones that tend to last the longest in the profession.  The rest just run out of their ability to fake it.

I will add, after having much more experience with them personally of late, that strippers, bikini models and other "professionally porntastic" women in general are some of the unsexiest human beings I have ever met in my life.

Nope, not a chance I would undergo that surgery. Many reasons, among them:

I don't believe in medically uneccesary surgery. Corrective surgery is another story. I would consider that, but tend to doubt I would go for it. < ex: reconstructive breast surgery for a mastectomy >

I don't think there is good data about long term effects of this procedure. I don't really want to be 85 years old with dementia running around the nursing home with a really sensitive clit. Can you imagine a nursing attendant doing their job and cleaning you after a urinary accident and you moaning and squirming and orgasming on them as they try to wash you up? I am kinda joking, but not really.

IF I couldn't orgasm at all (ie clit was completely covered by the hood), then I might consider it. Assuming I thought I was missing out on something BIG! [sm=lol.gif] If I didn't feel the need to orgasm (some people don't), then probably not.
 
As for the labia clipping... only if they were excessively large and causing discomfort (sexual or otherwise).
 
Basically, as someone else posted earlier: IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T CLIP IT!!! (or something to that effect). And to each their own. If you want it, and it makes you feel better for whatever reason, fine. *shrugs* Who am I do say otherwise?

just have to say, as one who has worked in the sex industry myself, that a great deal of it certainly is about "fake pleasure", at least as far as the female sex worker is concerned anyway, and male clients have a full understanding and acceptance of this. for the typical stripper, whore, or porn star, their pleasure or lack thereof couldn't be less relevant. the exception to the fake pleasure rule would be those clients who prefer to see and hear (real) tears and moans of suffering.

After looking at those sites that showing me other womens parts, I now realize my parts are in fact quite purty! Whew! Guess I just saved myself a whole lotta time and money!

I think of it as any calling or profession in life- most of us just do work that we do, we don't really LOVE our jobs.

But for some of us, we really love what we do.  For me, being a whore was about being true to myself, while the pleasure I may have shown my clients was not real as if it were with a long term partner, I was being myself, and allowing myself to be used as a way for them to get their pleasure.

Kinda like most submissives want to do in their relationships.  You might not be experiencing immediate pleasure at the moment- but you are providing a valuable service and ability to others and that is a fulfilling experience.

But, like most jobs- people do it for the money and advantages, not really because they love it.

Unfortunately doctors that do have clients willing to discuss the surgery outside the bonds of dr/ patient confidentiality. It's not like they are going to approach those with bad outcomes and ask for you to be able to talk to them.

Amen.  That's the conclusion that I came to as well after hearing about the surgery and doing some research.

I'm the farthest thing from the "roast beef" look, as my oh so eloquent ex's stepbrother put it.  lmao

First time I heard that one I nearly fell over laughing.

|D Yeah, no.  No way would I get that done.  Largely because my clit is the most sensative part of my sex organs.  Vaginally, I'm not nearly as sensative.  As-is, my clit can get so overly sensative that I have to stop whoever is touching me to keep them from hurting me.

If the surgery magically made vaginal orgasms easier to come by... even then it wouldn't be worth it for me : )

I dislike surgical body mod.  ^-^  That's just me though.

I can only speak from my own experience. When I was a teenager, the bicycles in those days had metal seats with springs underneath them.  I was riding behind my friend, hanging onto him closely, he hit a bump and the seat pinched me between the seat and the spring. It pinched and cut most of my clitoral hood away. I was taken to surgery and they repaired it the best they could.  This was in the early 60's and things like this was not discussed at all.  Anyway, though it happened, I have NO problem having orgasms, just the opposite, I cum repeatedly, with very little effort put forth. I do have a little scaring, but nothing serious nor does it hinder my sexual pleasure.
