*raises hand* It does seem to be really common. I think maybe it's just easier for a sub to wallow in their new addiction since it's so easy to find someone to feed it.

True *sigh* But we're speaking of sub-frenzy here. All it takes is one great high and you just know all it takes is to find the right Dom and you'll be able to relive it. Let the frenzy die down, then take your time and find the right one.

Yep....yep....yep....sub frenzy here when i first came into the leather scene. but for some reason, who knows why, maybe some kind of hard-wiring in my head, i never jumped into a relationship. Perhaps it was because i was only a bottom, then, no D/s, in the early years and got my needs met by going to the parties in the local dungeon clubs and playing there. Frenzy?.....yesssssssssssssss......and it was wonderful. Nowdays, i know better........

*holds hand up for having had a mild case of it as a newbie sub* ... and currently experiencing a mild Domme version LOL! I have seen many subs go through it ... I try to warn newbies about it but that doesn't always work! While a version of it can be found in vanilla-world ... think of someone who has finally escaped a bad relationship and is now dating again (once they've got over the fear) ... they tend to call it falling in love on the rebound ... I think it is intensified in bdsm because of the intensity of wiitwd and the perceived less chance of finding "the one".
