I definately dont have penis envy. I would never want any part of my body to be that easily aroused and used against me. I read this yesterday, but didn't have the time to post a response. I hold an MA degree in anthropology with a concentration in gender and sexuality studies and I have never seen anything documented that makes this claim. Also, not too many anthropologist study human culture in an historical context as your first sentence suggests. There is a branch of anthropology called archeaology that looks at the past, but they really look at artifacts, not human culture.

The anthropological evidence actually shows that humanity views sex as being more emotional and/or spiritual then being a mechinism to procreate.

Gender constructions as a phenomenon of culture are a totally separate issue. We're pretty sure that past human populations did reproduce, because we are their descendents. So let's not over-complicate things just to spoil a joke.

Oh yes I have a lot of penis envy. I good half of me is male. If we go on the stereotypes.
However I enjoy the other half as well. I agree totally with Mistress Dolly.
A variety of real detatchable ones would be lovely. I would enjoy learning how to use them really well.
