i am sure this has been covered in another post.. but i cant find exactly what im after.. so i thought i would start a new thread..

what is ( if any) everyones bedtime ritual for their sub/slave? and why does it work for you and how does it make you feel...

looking forward reading your responces

Stopping what i am doing the minute Master says to go to bed... laying on His side of the bed first, to warm the sheets with my body heat... snuggling up next to Him, feeling small and safe... There are a zillion reasons why i love bedtime now... not bad for a lifetime insomniac?

Master has very long hair. our ritual is that i brush His hair (100 strokes minimum). other things vary...so not really a ritual...

It's not ritualized, but we snuggle together and just do general talking. On the weekends, we also do the same before we get out of bed and start the day.

What a lovely question! We don't get to sleep together every night, so when we do, it's heaven. I don't think we've had bedtime rituals per se, but I really like the idea. Sometimes though, as a reward, he reads me a story from Winnie the Pooh until I fall asleep. I guess that could be a ritual.

We usually go to bed at the same time and cuddle very close. It's a time for us to say the "I love you's" of the day and to feel close to each other.

We always fall asleep in spoon position, with Masters arms around me. This is probably one of my favorite times of the day with him.. all quiet and just the two of us.

We dont have a ritual persay........ as it always varies. If he isnt coming to bed with me - he usually tucks me in, kisses me and wishes me sweet dreams. If he goes to bed with me - he usually gets comfortable - puts a show on he wants to watch for awhile and has me cuddle up with him. I am -used to - falling asleep with the TV ON!! Sometimes he likes to drive me nuts and turn it off. Which induces me to get all flustered and then tackle him for the remote. When i can not retrieve the remote - i tend to sit and pout and then tackle him again. When he's done letting me act like a spoiled brat, he tucks me partially under him and says "go to sleep" (which i usually hrrrrump him and pout abit until i quiet down)

Sometimes i'll already BE in bed, watching TV. Like COMIC RELIEF. Arg! when he really wants to get me going - as it seems he enjoys getting me going - he'll say "remote" which i hand over and then he'll change the channel!! ooooooooooooooooo i have YET to finish watching Comic relief and it had Whoopi goldberg and Robin Williams in it! Puts on something like "cool runnings" telling me how GREAT a movie it is and i should hush and watch it. He so enjoys getting me going. Which of course one of the better ways is to turn off my stand up comedy!

So i suppose our "ritual" is bed time is more or less - play time. Its generally a very sweet/cuddle time - where the Daddy/little girl become a very evident part of our r/s .

Dear sunnydays, Ladies and Gentlemen;

When I am to retire to my bed, the personal slave I have/had would undress me and dress me in the night attire that I would select from. I would then have him pull out the mat where he will lay at the foot of my bed and I would chain him to the bed. However, at one point I had a bed where the slaves had a boxed in cage under my bed, so they were right under me as I slept. So, that would have me shut the door to the slave's kennel under the bed.

My slaves sleep with a hawk bell around the ankle, as to hear them move, when they weren't on a chain or under the bed in their kennel.

did you know it's no longer recomended to do 100 strokes any more? the admitedly few hair articals I read have done away with that saying the 100 strokes causes hair breakage

My sub kneels at My feet as I sit on the side of the bed. I stroke his hair while he tells Me about his day and I tell him about mine. he tells me how much he loves and adores Me, I tell him the same. Then I grab a handful of his hair, tilt his head back and kiss him, that means its time to go to sleep.

i would love ot hear from subs as well.. how it makes you feel etc.. the reason im asking this is becasue i remeemberreading about it somewhere and after emntioning it to Master, he wantedme t get some ideas so he can decide on something for us.. i have to present him with 10 ideas for him to choose from, and a report on my research...

We do this every night.

Fox turns on my air cleaner and turns down my bed.

When I come in he helps change if I want or brushes my hair if I want -- that's my decision and a function of how my day has gone and where my head it as the moment.

Then I set on the edge of my bed and he kneels down. He smiles at me and carefully removes each of my shoes then my socks. Then he lifts each of my feet of kisses them, usually has a mini-discussion with "them" about how they are feeling and then may massage them or be molested by them (again depending on my mood).

Then he leans in and we hug. He then lowers himself so that his head rests on the bed between my thighs and I clamp them tightly over his head so he cannot hear or see anything. His entire body will then completely relax and he usually sighs as all his day's stresses flee in the face of being nothing but an object at that moment.

We might chat after I let him kneel back or sit back if it will be a longer chat.

Then he tucks me into bed and tells my husband that I'm in bed.

I set the coffee maker; clean the cat box, lock the doors, turn off the furnace and any heaters we have running, turn off the hot tub if it is on, turn off the TV and computer (and Xmas decorations now), turn on both sides of the electric blanket, brush my teeth (shower if we are planning to play), then tell Hubby i am out of the bathroom so He can use it, then we go to bed to read or play depending on the mood. In other words, i do all the chores and He just comes to bed.

I check the locks as well,turn on alarm,brush teeth,get pillows just so,turn tv volume down to minimum,turn on heating pad for feet,turn off the light. And wait.........for no one to come..

when i was a slave i was on the floor (read; comfy mattress) next to the bed with an ankle chain too....it might look shocking a daddysgirl, but honestly it was the greatest thing in the world. I loved sleeping in my cage too but it gave me cramps too easily so my owner decided against it...

and there were always hugs..

to the OP the only thing i would add to all that have been said here is that my owner used to tilt my head back by pulling my hair and look in to my eyes before bed and say whos slave are you, and i would reply yours, then i would ask to be put away for the night (either in the bed or on the floor)

Generally I tell him that I have to go to bed (being a college student I can't always wait for him to retire or I have to stay up later then him sometimes). When I have to go to bed before him, I will sometimes give his neck a little nibble to see if I can get him to come to bed with me. If he doesn't move, then I know I should to go to bed by myself and I do.

Well my bedtime is 11:00 pm and my Daddy's PDA has an alarm that goes off at 10:45 pm, that is my que to start to get ready for bed. I brush my teeth and my hair, sometimes I will bring the brush to Daddy and ask in the sweetest way possible if he would help me, sometimes Daddy ask's me to bring him the brush (then I do a mental check to see if I have misbehaved and if it is my bottom that the brush is intended for :).I wash my face and my girly parts. Then I inform Daddy that I am ready and he tells me to go up and get into bed and he will be up to tuck me in. I get in bed and wait for Daddy. If I am not wearing my collar then Daddy puts it on me and sometimes chains me to the bed by my collar. Daddy pets my hair and tells me how much he loves me and if I have been good tells me what a good girl I am. If I have not been good or if I am late getting into bed then I am told to assume the postion and I get lashes from the liquid cane, ouch! Then he asks me who's girl I am? I asked Daddy last night if he would read to me before bed and he said he would start tonight to read for ten minutes from the Cronicles of Narnia. I love my bed time ritual, Daddy has only been implemnting it for about a month now but it is wonderful and I usually fall asleep very quickly, especially if I am chained to the bed. Sometimes when Daddy comes to bed later he wakes me up so that I can pleasure him before he goes to sleep, the he cuddles me back to sleep :)

I haven't implemented this yet since I am still ironing out the details since I am still in LDR stages. What I will be doing is attaching an ankle cuff to her and chaining it to the bed..probably as a permanent setup and read to her since she is my little girl. Currently, I tell her "nite nite" and she replies "nite nite?" like she doesn't want the day to end quite yet and we talk for an hour or two before one of us falls asleep. She has never not gone to bed when told and that does make daddy proud.
