While perusing the forum, I came upon a comment regarding tributes and worship... I am curious, how do you view worship?

darksdesire -> RE: Worship? (12/12/2006 9:11:28 PM)

ohhh worship.

That is the best way I know to express an almost inexpressible sense of devotion, love, admiration and gratitude.

SusanofO -> RE: Worship? (12/12/2006 9:14:05 PM)

Wanting to really, truly please someone, and feeling terrible (or uncomfortable) if for some reason, I didn't or can't. Being willing to do almost anything for them. Believing their opinion really is the best one out there. Considering them the center of one's world. Getting really emotionally upset if someone else criticizes them. Really respecting their intellect, heart and intentions. Trusting them to know what's right. If I worship someone, that's how I feel about them.

For me, it has nothing to do with money - it has to do with what I feel in my heart about someone. If they want financial "proof", it would likely make me nervous (but I'd perhaps consider it, I have no idea - nobody ever asked me that before).

oh yeah.  Not money.  I've never done the tribute thing.  I've never considered worship in financial terms

I guess what I'm asking is just how you go about expressing it?  What is it that you do?

But what exactly is it that you enjoy...  how is it that you wish to be worshipped?

SirDiscipliner69 -> RE: Worship? (12/12/2006 9:28:36 PM)

Body massage...oral..tongue..for the physical for starters...

Proper mindset is also essential

[:D]  I think you and I are on the same wavelength here.  In fact, I think I posted a comment to you once before where I said, "When my waking moments are filled with thoughts of him... when every decision I make is prefaced with consideration of his preferences... when my actions are influenced by how he will react... when my desires are shaped to match his own... I am worshipping him."

darksdesire -> RE: Worship? (12/12/2006 9:31:42 PM)

oh.  Well, a lot of different ways.  I've given him long massages in which my intention is to worship every inch of his skin with my hands.  Or, i've knelt at his feet and verbally expressed gratitude for all he's given me.  I've written him letters. I even have a small altar of sorts, that has his picture, a candle and some sentimental objects.  Sometimes I may meditate in front of the altar when he is away from home.   In some ways, I think that most of my acts of service contain some element of worship in them.

I'm glad you indicate the requirement of mindset.  Otherwise, those physical things don't really mean anything.  Any masseuse can give you a massage... and she wouldn't be worshipping you.  Likewise, I wouldn't classify simply demanding a massage from your slave to be worship, either, if it's not particularly what she wants to be doing at that time.

Those are all very nice ways for you to express your feelings.  [;)]  Does he request or require your worship?

Have you ever bought him a gift?

darksdesire -> RE: Worship? (12/12/2006 9:51:39 PM)

I wouldn't say he actually requires it.   My guess is he doesn't really do that because he wants the worship to flow from me spontaneously.  I know he loves it, but he doesn't demand it.  Most of the time I offer.

darksdesire -> RE: Worship? (12/12/2006 10:01:21 PM)

oh. i've bought him small gifts, but generally as birthday or Christmas gifts.

ownedgirlie -> RE: Worship? (12/12/2006 10:04:51 PM)

I worship my Master by expressing my adoration and love for him...by doting on him...by groveling at his feet and kissing and licking them...by writing him intense love letters telling him how grateful I am to him and why...by licking his body, head to toe and muttering sweet nothings to him beneath my breath.  I worship his feet, his cock, his ass, and him as a whole human being.  All of it is heartfelt.  He never requests it; it comes from me on my own.  As for gifts, yes I buy him gifts that are usually made specifically for him and very personal.  I can't tell him enough how wonderful I think he is.   :)

AquaticSub -> RE: Worship? (12/12/2006 10:08:54 PM)

Umm.... I buy him beer and gummi bears a lot but he doesn't ask me to. Does that count as tribute? Definately don't actually worship him, my religion forbids that. Plus I think an altar to him would freak him out. [:)]

Awww... He likes gummi bears better though. Perhaps it counts as a minor sort of tribute.

SusanofO -> RE: Worship? (12/13/2006 2:01:05 AM)

If I am obsessedw/someone (or worshipping them), I tend to buy them silly little things I know they'd like (Gummi Bears aren't out of the question, sweaters, trinkets, tickets to a play, books, etc.). I also like to cook for them and make meals that "knock their socks off".

I will want to spend days and days (and nights) involved with them, to spend time with them and in the bedroom also - physically showing them how much I care, and trying to be "up" for any adventure or new things they want to try there.

I will write them little notes, telling them I am thinking of them, and asking if they need anything.

I also buy lots of sappy, and funny greeting cards for them, and also leave loving messages on their answering machine. I also ask them what else they want from me.
