Does anyone have a source for the balls or a method of inserting the strap that is neat? I have been making leather goods for a while, but have no satisfactory method of inserting the leather strap. Many thanks in advance.

Have you considered placing the leather strap through the mold when you make the ball? Silicone or latex can be poured into your modified mold around the leather strap encasing the silicon around the strap.

I've drilled holes in racquet balls in a pinch and thread the leather through the ball that way.

That is a good thought. I had not considered molding the ball myself. I have tried drilling with unhappy results. Any thoughts as to a source of the raw material?

Occasionally its necessary to do that for those who talk out of their ass. when a buttplug just won't do. LOL

try using a faster drill and a slower depression rate.

I got a small pack of Soft Rubber Balls, and drilled a hole in them, then then squeezed them, like BootBlackBlast, and then inserted the strap. I had trouble wiht Old Hard Balls in my Gags, and replaced the with Smaller, Softer Balls (Like me). They are much better now. I used the Post Screws (Sex Screws) too, so I didn't have to use Rivets. Gag me with a Spoon, I mean a Ball Gag, BalletBob

Anyone thought about those perforated golf balls the Japanese always seem to be using? I say "seem" because I do see a fair number of other ballgags in the imported stuff, although the perforated ball looks to be a favorite of theirs. Along with nose hooks...

ROFL Actually, I stick to the japanese stuff because it doesn't seem as cheesy if you don't understand what they're saying.

Bob sure you could mail me. Those mary janes are cute but a bitch to walk in. I found that out when I went to a job interveiw in them hehe. I sat down took my stockings off an shoes an walked to the care barefoot after the interveiw.

I have found 2 ways to get leather straps through a ball when making a ball gag. The first is to use a pliable leather such as 4 oz and roll it after drilling the hole in the ball then slowly work the leather through. The best method seems to be molding my own balls over the leather. Still the easiest is to by the golf ball sized wiffle balls, carefully cut to make slot and just slide the leather through. JR

As for materials, I found some super balls in a quarter vending machine that work very well for a ball gag. They drill easily and a leather thong slides through fairly easily. Have tried melting a slot in one and found an old file heated with a torch works but it has to be done outdoors.
