Obviously, they shouldn't have run the 2 for 1 rim job Thanksgiving special.

I guess it's another reason to eat meat, we carnivores throw the poop chute away.

Sure.  An outbreak means they will be even MORE paranoid in the future and likely a lot safer than all the other fast food places that haven't been hit.

This could have hit anywhere- the level of mass production of food just can't be tracked and checked for every truckload.

This is my point of view. The last place in the world I would worry about it now would be a Taco Bell.

I rarely eat fast food, 1-3 times a year. However, I also refuse to worry about the safety of the food I eat. If I get sick I get sick. I have survived 44 1/2 years just fine, odds are I will not die from food poisoning but at age 104 by slipping and falling on the ice out feeding my horses at 4AM. They will find me in a snow drift, frozen solid........a grannie-sicle.

OH NO, Tigresse! According to my calculations, you have only another 10 hours to live!

It's probably going to end up being the lettuce at the Olive Garden here..they now have 250 ppl sick from it (most everyone has salad).  They haven't figured it out last I read, but they might have by now.

Since we don't eat out much anyway, I haven't been too worried, but if it's going to hit produce, there isn't much I can do even at home.

The Indianapolis Olive Garden number is up to 300 sick.

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/fn/4405580.html

The last time it happened at Olive Garden I think it was lettuce or parsley.

The entire thing freaks me out.  I no longer buy spinach, I guess lettuce is next.  I have visuals of unclean field & restaurant workers everywhere.
