Right now, I don't think there are any toys in the living room. A small wooden chest with a lock serves for the smaller items, the larger ones hang. Family is coming this week, so it will all go out to the cabinet in the garage.

My collection is cramed into a lockable metal breifcase that i got a menards, it is identical to my camera cases. So Since being in college i have to roommates and live and home for the time being it works and none the wiser. But for me the tool chest in the garage would get more question than putting it in the closet i have half a garage full of tools at home and i live with my parents. By the way the metal box is like $20

OK .... I like in the closet and if the item requires hanging such as a flogger, Hang it on a hanger with a coat over top, and away from the center ... like near the arms. Too the coat pockets are a great place to put things like cuffs, blindfolds, gags, dildoes, etc.

I have a few toys that I keep in my trunk in a duffel bag. The duffel bag also serves as my first aid kit, car jack, tools, etc.

I'm a dress-up fanatic too .. latex mostly.. weighs a tonne and has to be kept out of the light.. I bought an antique rosewood "gents robe" .. or manrobe, it's double doored has drawers on one side and hanging space on the other side, it's lockable and matches the furniture. Everything else is locked in the dungeon, including my shoe collection ( I ran out of space in the closet)... Allie
