Please don't leave BeachMystress, you always have such great/healthy and well thought out advice.
I got some evil email tonight, that I too am considering I may need to step back for a bit.
If you left, I would certainly miss you... M

You know. This bugs the hell out of me. This has been a great place to come and interact with some truly fantastic people. I wish I had found it a year ago. This board has been unique in that it is not like other boards I have seen. And I don't want it to become like those other boards. Truly - I fail to see the entertainment value in behaving like a spoiled 9 year old with bad boundary issues. It's not up to me to figure that out. And honestly, I really don't CARE to figure that out. What I will do however, is second Mercnbeth and say that perhaps what needs to be done here is to step back and allow admin and the mods a little room to do their jobs. I am willing to give them that opportunity to try and sort this out before I make that decision to leave a place that I have come to really enjoy -for the most part- the last few days having been the exception.

I DO understand your frustration, particularly if this has spilled over into your mailbox, but I really do hope that BOTH you and BeachMystress reconsider. This board will be less, and not as enjoyable without you.

Merc/Beth -

Beautifully spoken.

My hat is off to the moderators, I'm guessing the last few weeks have been pretty unpleasant for them. No doubt they make mistakes now and then but I have to say they've displayed patience and an unusual level of professionalism under trying circumstances. Maybe too much patience, it certainly exceeds mine, because I would have "gone nuclear" with a couple of posters a days ago - and you know who you are.

A word to the wise, there is more than one way to ban a user from a website
*permanently*. The technical details are absolutely trivial and have nothing to do with your user ID.

Consider for a moment how you'd feel if the moderators/owners simply decided not to put up with the bs anymore and flipped the switch on CM. I hope we all keep that in mind when we're using this site. I'd hate to see it go.

Users can help out, by posting legitimate discussion, avoiding flames (yes its hard to do sometimes) and ignoring the inescapable idiots that are bound to show up from time to time.

Beach,
read the boards site name. It reads ( Collarme )
None of Us here are * normal * or bad guys ( well I might be a bad Gurl ). To expect Us to act as such on any given occation here is asking just a bit to much of those with in a ABNORMAL Lifestyle. We All here luv Ya dearly but You really do need to simply click the lil off button if what goes on here on any given day doesent jive with Your daily feelings and take a breath for a day or two..... the post not enjoyed will eventually be burried and if I dont find any value in it will not bring it back up with a smillie face I promice. ~smiles~ You know damn good and well that there are WAYYYY more positive things here that goes on then negitive to You and what You find offencive another takes enjoyment in. That is what learning how to tolerate others differances and differing lifestyles and kinks is all about. Learning to take the good the bad and the ugly and accepting it or tuning it out or turning Your head if its not for You.

BeachMystress,

I would hate to see you leave..hell, I would hate to see anyone leave simply because of some virtual sociopath's need for attention. I applaud the Mods for their attempts to maintain some form of order and realize that with the huge influx of new users, that they will be unable to put all the fires out. We still have the option to ignore an individual poster. Yes, they will most likely change their name, their personal information, their font, pic, writing style, but ya just ignore them again and again and again. There's nothing more fun than watching an attention whore writhe in agony when they aren't getting the attention they so desperately need.

Hope you decide to stick around.

Dread brings up a good point, the block button does work well. It skips over the posts from trolls and you can get to the good stuff. If we all stay on topic eventually the trolls will get bored and move on. I have done this myself and it is so refreshing!! There is an active thread full of flames going on right now and I am just staying away from it.

BeachMystress, you just posted to a very worthwhile thread regarding abuse and you gave some excellent advise and valuable links so the OP could get help. We all appreciate your contribution so stick around!!!!

I second that, things have calmed down a lot. Thank you Mods for bringing it under control.

I don't post very often, but I do enjoy your input. You should just overlook the problem and stay. Of course, that's just my own opinion. You will be missed!

Beach, Please don't leave. I've always enjoyed your posts, and I must say, am usually in agreement, or at least can see your point. I hope you don't mind my light hearted style. Usually I'm serious in a humorous way. And a little personal aggrandizement hurts nobody.

I just got back from 5 weeks in Florida and a Caribbean cruise, so I haven't been able to post much lately, but I see there's still plenty of us who are caring and genuine.

Maybe I should plan my next trip West instead of South. What do you think of Newport Beach?
