Seriously, I dig the strong butch Mr. Clean with shackles kind of thing (butch gals work too, mmm) but what's the dealie-o that we can't accept this kind of powerful as a flavor of "submission?" I don't like re-casting it as "Dom" myself because, well it reinforces the stereotypes that bore me so. If a man can dead lift 480, is the head of Cardiology at NYU hospital, and is running for Senate but puts his ass up in the air FOR ME on a regular basis, saying "this is who I truly am to you, Mistress!" - he's a sub. Maybe he has his own slaves, too, I'm indulgent and I'll permit it to go on if it doesn't disrupt my life too much and if I think he's doing right by them.

Since I have always seen that submission is a state of strength not weakness, then for Me, the concept of a Knight as a sub sits very well. In fact the metaphor was used when I collared My hubby as My sub ... unfortunately he turned out to be a "what's in it for me fetishist" and not a Knight at all. My beating heart is still looking for one!
It works in reverse for me too as i am not only Master's slave, and His slut, but also His queen. And that makes U/us both happy :-)

Most men walk up to a domme and say something about a being a worthless worm. I use a different approach. I go up to a domme and use the statement above. And while she is still scratching her head or looking at her friend with a puzzled expression, I begin to serinade her with some Peter Cetera. And my courtship is done. If there is more than one domme, they begin to argue over who gets to go to my castle.

To create full effect, I began wearing chain maille to play parties. Eventually I got the full armor but haven't quite mastered the art of walking in it yet. I keep falling over and it's hard to get up. One time I did wear it to a party and I fell. Coincidentally it was by a domme's feet. So I pretended like I was being Hamlet and had fallen on purpose. I began to call her Mistress Ophelia. I learned that reciting Peter Cetera works better than reciting Shakespear.

Another time I wore the armor was for a pony play event. I thought I could maybe talk one of the ponies into giving me a ride and challenge someone to joust to impress the dommes. Well, none of the ponies went for it. One of them put a tail on me without my knowledge. And so all the people were pointing at the tail and saying, look, a knight's....

Never mind.

Don't mind me. I'm just being silly.
