The crowds at the mall, I cant stand crowds!!! I feel my blood pressure rise everytime I have to go.

People seemed to be ruder during the holidays. The long lines. The holidays blues and not being able to spend it with the people we want to spend it with.

I am pulling my hair out with the people who don't know how to drive. It never ceases to amaze me how many people don't turn on headlights in the rain, how many people drive well below the speed limit while talking on their cell phones, and how many forget that the person backing up does not have the right of way! I can't wait for the holidays to be over, and all the homebodies to get back in their houses and off the streets!

None of these polls ever seem to have an option that reflects the way i feel.... I miss my children being young. and at home..making the holiday magical ....sure...i still did all the baking and candy making...but it was a very melancholy chore this year. And i find i have to keep Christmas music going nearly 24/7 to manage to maintain a semblance of holiday cheer. I'm pretty much the, cheerful hello to a stranger, open door for others...etc, type of person all year round...so...thats not just a seasonal thing for me.

Of the things listed, the most annoying to me is bad gifts. Most of these are in the form of candy and sweets. Anyone who looks at me can see that I don't need them, and the people giving these gifts are fully aware that I am watching my weight, so I can't imagine why they would still give that as a gift. I certainly don't give candy or sweets to people I know who are watching their weight. The most annoying thing not listed is the perpetual temptation of unhealthy foods lurking everywhere during the holidays. I cannot even get up and use the photocopier at work without encountering temptation. The second most annoying thing not listed is lines at the post office. I have a part-time home based business in addition to my regular job that involves making trips to the post office to mail things a couple times a week year-around, and it was absolutely horrible up until a few days ago. Fortunately, it is back to normal now. Everyone who had things to mail for Christmas has mailed them by now. Lady Topaz

I quite like this time of year it’s a beacon of light in the darkness of winter unless you live in the southern hemisphere core Christmas must be strange in those parts of the word. Kind of begs the question “Do they know its Christmas at all and if they did would they be buying socks and ties?” P.S. Feed the world etc.

no body watching their kids in the mall, resulting in the kids wreaking havoc on people who just wanna shop and get out. the non driving (insert favorite words here) on the roads some of (not all, however) the horrible christmas themed shows and movies. hearing the same song over and over by different artists. (i worked in the mall last year. jessica simpson, madonna, and someone else were played back to back singing santa baby. HATE! ) spending it away from people you really wanna be with. having to decide which half of the family to see, and which half of the family can wait. ugly yard decorations. theres a difference between decently decorated, and just junked up yards. i think im done for now...

I drive enough I see bad drivers every day so thats nothing unique. I don't mind parking clear out in the back forty, helps work off the extra goodies. I don't have children at home anymore so that does not matter. The gifts don't mean shit to me at all, spending time with family is the most important part of the holidays. Sadly thats not going to be much worth talking about this year. While I do most of my shopping online I dislike the rude crowds in the stores I have to go to. What annoys me the most is the commercials and the gawdawfulfreaking christmas music I am so sick of!!!!!!!

My Christmas complaints: -- Feeling like I'm somehow failing when I don't have that elusive holiday spirit. -- Having a whole mess of other stuff to do at a time when work is invariably busy.

One of the "higher ups" at my office decided he wanted "All Christmas All the time" music from the week after Thanksgiving until next week. It drove us all nuts. Finally last week, we switched it to classic rock and acted like we didn't know it had changed back. Since I have the remote to the satellite radio, I told the people who always argue over the station if they started again, it was going back to Christmas carols. The fussing stopped and we are happily listening to rock music. I have now told them that if they argue after next week, I will put it on country music until we all break out in hives. I just looked at the poll results....it reminded me of one of my favorite commercials of all times. An Office Depot commercial for back to school time....it showed the parents all kicking their heels up...to the song "the most wonderful time of the year"...while the kids lagged behind...all gloomy at going back to school....was hilarious.
