mymasterssub69 -> You people are sick (12/22/2006 3:18:54 PM)

oh not you, my fellow CM members!

that quote was directed to us who are in the BDSM lifestyle however personally towards me by someone who just IMed me on yahoo.

it astarted like this - a guy IMs me with the usual flattery and wishing me Merry Christmas wondering if i like to be dominated by a man. natuarally my reply was 'currently happy with my Daddy/Dom ...not interested'.  sometimes that response alone ends the conversation because a - they just think i'm weird or b - don't have a clue to what i'm talking about ...or c - all of the above.

well not this guy - he immediately said we (Daddy and i) are sick people ...he added that i must think less of myself to have a man control me in all possible ways ...to think of myself beneath him since i enjoy being treated like a sex slave for my Daddy ...that i must enjoy playing this sick game ...etc etc.

sad to say, he didn't know what he was talking about. i have a very loving relationship with my Daddy/Dom like many of us do i'm sure. it's something i'm sure he'll never understand.

oh he's blocked.

The great part is when it's someone who IS into bdsm/Ds who still says you're sick and wrong.

Vanillas are more understandable, it's hard to change the perspective and requires a bit of "see it to believe it" and mind bending.

It's just hysterical when kinky people tell me I'm sick.

mymasterssub69 -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 3:42:26 PM)

some guys i've met use BDSM as a game to attract women ...but it freaks them when they meet a real sub who's not playing the role

LotusSong -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 4:15:21 PM)

It must be something in the water.  Even *I* got a note of angst from a gentleman. Basically, wondering what I'm doing here since I'm "not looking".  I put my response in my profile because I'm sure it will come up again sometime.

LA,

True, but even within the BDSM community we are often very harsh and verbal about what "we" as individuals deem sick. It's rather sad that those who seek tolerance of those outside of the BDSM community are often incapable of tolerance themselves.

~Fast Reply~

I wonder if these people have any relation to those who ask a woman to sleep with them and when she says no, call her slut. [:D]

SweetAndYummy -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 4:35:51 PM)

I have a weird guy who makes a new profile once or twice a month just to write me (before the text is approved) and tell me what a sloppy tub of fat I am for being a size 10. I think it must be someone I said "No thanks" to because I try to reply to every message I get. It is starting to be funny in a sick kind of way, but I hope he never finds out where I live or anything. In every profile he is 44 and submissive looking for a princess to pamper or something? Does anyone else get messages from this guy?

CalliopePurple -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 4:36:20 PM)

My most recent experiences with being called "sick" were not through this site, but still online. It was a LiveJournal community dedicated to telling bad sexual experiences and a comment I made prompted most people to say I sickened them by admitting to doing something I'm not entirely sure I can mention here.

It amuses me when people in a setting like that or this, where odd things are expected to come out, can instantly react with disgust. Ehh, I guess we're all humans and we can't help it sometimes.

AquaticSub -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 4:37:00 PM)

Nope. Really sad though...

shadevarr -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 4:42:29 PM)

Wait, there are people who just fake it!? say it ain't so...

Bearlee -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 4:44:18 PM)

LOL... on Alt you can't choose 'friends only' or something other as straightforward , so at one time I left my choice as is, but said, early in the body of the profile, that since I couldn't change the fact that I was NOT searching and keep the profile to visit with friends..."you're hereby notified I am not looking!"
Of course, I still got letters admonishing my presence.  Go figure.  There are idiots everywhere...ya just can't take them personally.  LOLb

Voltare -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 4:45:22 PM)

LA,

In my experience, vanillas tend to be pretty open minded, as long as they are spoon fed concepts of the lifestyle in tiny bites.  Self-identified BDSMers, on the other hand, if they aren't already open minded about a topic aren't likely to ever be so - the recent issue on incest comes to mind.

mymasterssub69 -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 4:46:59 PM)

nope never but i did have one from yahoo contact me looking for a Mistress to abuse ...not into that short of stuff

krikket -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 5:27:02 PM)

i don't know enough about yahoo (or ICQ or MSN, etc.,) to float around except to those who are on my list..lol..but, i personally would thank the "gentleman" for his lovely compliment and then block his tush!!!

Happy Holidays y'all

Pretty much.  It's hard to find people who aren't conformists to some degree.  There are still studies to find out why people react with horror to the concept of incest, even once the primary excuses/conserns are addressed (no pregnancy, only once, between adults, etc).  I prefer it works/doesn't work, to it's right/wrong, but I'm the odd one in that I think.

whisperedsighs -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 5:56:32 PM)

I had someone recently IM me trying to get me to have no strings attached sexual encounter, I politely told him, no thank you I prefer to have the strings, chains and rope attached when at all possible during sex!

RedSavageSlave -> RE: You people are sick (12/22/2006 5:58:32 PM)

[:'(]  <--me...sick...<sigh>

I've done chain and rope, never strings.  Strings though, kinky!

no, but someone has asked me twice if I "enjoy smoking cigarettes ;)"...what the heck does that mean, other than actually smoking cigarettes?  is that some kind of secret code for something?
