Hi dani, if you feel that is plausible then you might want to read "The 9-11 Timeline" over on this site: http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/. Warning, this is a lot of reading and requires some time put into it, but it is time well spent. sissy Usually hesitates to tell people that populate message boards about it because many of them have an aversion to reading anything longer than a couple of paragraphs in length (that's why they read mbs LOL).

The important factor in all of this is the Project for a New American Century (PNAC). It's website is here: http://www.newamericancentury.org/ If this stuff doesn't scare ya, nothing will. Another pair of good resource are: http://www.fromthewilderness.com/ and http://www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net/ In fact, Google around on the term "peak oil" for a whole bunch of interesting sites.

Yes, there is a lot of conspiracy theory stuff mixed in with much of this, but what worries sissy most about all of it, is not so much that these agendas and strategies (such as advocated by PNAC) are out there, or are now even being implemented post 9-11, but that we don't hear or see this stuff addressed in the mainstream media. This means that as Americans we have already effectively lost our first amendment rights without even a constitutional amendment to take them away, or acts such as the Patriot Acts I & II to temporarilly (indefinitely ?) suspend them like most of our other important rights have been curtailed. Freedom of the press is no damn good if all the mainstream press is owned by large corporate America with a vested interest in NOT reporting these kind of stories. Thank God for the internet and the alternative press !
