Best thing?  Getting divorced.

Worst thing?   I dunno--maybe smoking ciggarettes--Ive since quit, but I'll have to fight it back for the rest of my life I suppose.

Worst thing...holding on to my anger for so long after the divorce

Best thing....letting the anger go, and looking forward to a brighter future.

worst . . Omigawd, many times I've nearly met a Darwin Award worthy demise.

best, . . letting go of the concept that if I could just "be normal" life would be simple.
This probobly seems pretty obvious to the people on here, but it's something I've struggled with for many years.

Worst thing:
actually believing and taking to heart the popular misconception that if one is feeling or behaving outside of what is socially accepted as “normal” or “happy”, one is inherently “sick” and needs some manner of AMA sanctioned intervention, meds, therapy, commitment, program, rehab, etc.

Best thing:
summing it up in 50 words or less accompanied with a brief checklist of interests posted on a BDSM personals site(not this one), looking for friends but being open to the possibility of more.

Worst thing? Almost succeeding at killing myself (two more hours away from an ER, and I'd have been dead).

Best thing(s)? Quitting smoking, and letting a homeless friend live at my place until she could get back on her feet. Working with dis-advantaged unmentionables has been very fulfilling for me, too. Being open-minded, in general.
