To OP:

It should be obvious at this point.  You see what happens on here in discussions.

Here's an example:

"I'm a new Dom and I wonder if having my sub remove her eyelids so she looks only at me would be a total act of submission"?

Teen responses:  "ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww gross!  No way!"

20 somethings:    "My Dom wants to do that too.  I don't know if it would be MY act of total submission, but we have been together for a whole month and I trust him for I am a trew submissive.  I will do as he wishes."

Late 20 somethings (with college) : "Just think it through., Everyone does their own thing. What one person will say is insane will be another's devotion to MASTER.  Don't be judgmental. Try everything once. Since you have two eyelids, you may want to try it twice just to be sure.  It could be a very spiritual experience.  Good luck to you and your Master.

30 somethings:  "My EX tried to pull that shit.. Boy, if I heard a master wanted to do it I'd run fast and far.  Don't let ANY Man/Woman do ANYTHING without your permission. After all, the sumissive has the last word! Stand your GROUND!

40 somethings:  (will THINK) "Do you really NEED to ask if  this is SANE?"

50+ somethings (WILL say it)

Now, if we can't handle it HERE, what makes you think it will be anymore pleasant in RT?

Devilslilsister -> RE: Age (12/29/2006 5:10:54 PM)

roflmao!!!  HA Ha ha.

i must be older then my years.  I think my response would be "are you nuts??  I also think that those responses arent restricted to age either, but newness in the lifestyle.  We all go through stages, not that i know what the stages are - but i know they are there.  Or maybe just more about how others want to be perceived.  Personality wise.

I'm not saying older is definetly wiser.  Just more often its the case.  I know that one can be wise at a younger age.  I've always been looked upon by those in RL with lots of life experience, intelligence and at times wisdom.  Which may have been true, but as i am getting older i am realising that life experience, intelligence and wisdom does not make up for vital things that one learns as they get older.  I may have been wise beyond my years at the age of 10 - yet i did not have the (w/e it is) to understand, cope, handle life's situations.

Something happens in the brain as we grow older.  I'm not excatly sure what it is.  At the age of 18, i had been in a variety of situations from high class to low class, lived abroad, visited over a dozen different countries, spent time with old and young a like; i quite honsetly have tons of wordly experience - YET i still did not have what age has brought me.

My father who has more wordly and life experience, who i will say trumps anyone i know - still did not have what age has brought him.

Age just brings something that you cant get anywhere else but through getting older.  Which is why i still stant to reason that we have alot to learn from those older then us and mixing age, gender, ethnic, race and ect is the wisest choice when it comes to educating ones self about any thing.  I wouldnt expect it to be any different in the BDSM world.

Saying that - Merc made excellent points

It was meant to be humorous with an element of truth :)  I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Littlesister:  It's not WHAT happens to you in life.. it's what you DO with what happens in life.  The difference with a couple years under your belt is that you actually make use of what has happened to you.

[image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m19.gif[/image]..I'm 49 now, be 50 in septmeber.  Once apon a time I was your age.  I'd like to think I as as much fun now as I was then, but, lol, I don't party as much. I still hate to shop, love to run the boats, hunt, fish, camp, and have lots to offer..as I did at your age.Do I feel excluded from that 35 and under group??? No, not really..After all, they have not been were I have been nor will they till they get there themselfs....
To know people you have to get out there and meet/greet them...as you seem to want to do.  Staying within your own age group can be fun...but..[snickers] I have over 35 years of experience doing what I do.[image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m26.gif[/image]...if they miss knowing me[or others like me] its not our loss.
