hmmmm....

What are your BDSM desires/plans/hopes for 2007? Somewhere in the middle of the year I am going to be moving (I don't know where yet) but because of academic aspirations I will. Hopefully, whereever I move there will be a BDSM Community in which I can participate actively. Where I currently reside, all of the groups and communities are over an hour travel time away one way and that is just to much.

1. Continue my physical self improvement, including but not limited to improving my upper body strength, endurance and losing the last bit of excess weight.
2. Grow my pro business to the point where I can do what I love (dom!) full time.
3. Increase my personal stock of toys and equipment- esp. gags and strap ons in a variety of sizes and types.
4. Be accepted into the PhD program I applied for.
5. (hopefully) find one special sub with whom I can develope a non professional relationship, r/t, full time.

What qualities are you looking for in a submissive in 2007?

Pixel, I've actually met one very educated man in person, who called himself a slave and the biggest reason we did not get together was that I my terms for his slavery included him being a lover, and he was not in the least bit interested in sex beyond watching me do it with someone else, and cleaning up.
I've also had numerous emails from men who tell me that the way to get them to submit is to enforce chastity... Like you, I don't see what is in it for them either, and frankly those types are not compatible with me, but wankers or not, they are around and they are seeking chastity. M

I want to finish my Master's thesis, find and apply to a few good PhD programs, continue getting stronger, fitter, healthier and find myself a nice boy or girl to begin working with and hopefully maybe collaring in 2008 (I move slowly and cautiously in that regard).

Inner strength, sweetness of spirit, initiative, calm, caring, witty.

Well the sub-seeking will continue here. I've had a few promising petitions in the last few days from actual locals, so that is encouraging. But oddly there aren't a lot of bi or lesbian born-females looking for Dominants here. So I may have to just settle for a male. Other than that, I'll continue keeping my eyes out on campus and just generally keeping my smile on my face as usual!

I plan to get more active in my local BDSM community -- going out to Munches and what have you. I want to work on some rope techniques and start saving my money for a queening stool, a swing and a few other fun things. My fondest desire of course would be to find someone local that I really click with on many levels, who would be interested in moving in a year and a bit when I have to leave to do my PhD. Barring that, I'll settle for a LD relationship with someone in the major US/UK cities that I anticipate possibly moving to late in 2008.

I'd like to add one to my list of general things for 2007

I'd like to get a manager at work that actually has a conscience - they don't have to do everything my way, not by a long shot ... but someone who doesn't give a different story to each and every person would be nice, someone who doesn't flat out lie about what he's done/tried to do would be nice ... someone who treats us like decent human beings would be a very nice change.

Thanks my friend. I've experienced what you've written about before and can relate but what I was referring to was an issue I have with one of my submissives whom I am trying to train in 2007 to be more consistent with certain behaviors and more importantly, I'm trying to train him to be more honest. Unfortunately he has a lying problem (not too big that it's a lost cause - - but we will see... To faciliate his training, he gets extended chastity for repeated infractions and absolutely zero for a while when I catch him in a lie.
