Sex... How long do you wait?

Status: offline 		I'm sitting here all by my lonesome, listening to my pooch snore, thinking about some people I've been messaging lately and possible possibilities. Naturally, 'cause I'm not in a relationship, and I won't pay someone to leave,  some of those possibilities include the horizontal tango.

Which got me wondering... how long did you wait before having sex with your current/last/majority of partner(s)? Why did you wait (or not)? Do you think it was a good thing that you did what you did, or....???

Status: offline 		For me there is no set time that makes me say OK X amount of days has passed so now  it must feel right...for each experience it was different. With  some a few meetings and with others much longer. The last one it was a couple of weeks.

I think I waited around 3 months way back in the pre-AIDS days.
 
Lord only knows how long I'd wait now days!  I don't envy you folks.

I didn't wait because thechemistry felt right sex felt right and I was frankly horny.

I agree with you Michael, but... perhaps its because I've been out of a relationship for a while, but I WANT NOOKIE!!! *sad sigh* However, I must admit that like cuddleheart (spiffy pic by the way!), I have to know the person. Otherwise, imo, it's like playing Russian Roulette with my health... drat those std's/i's and HIV! So, LotusSong, what was the free luv like back then????  (I'm just razzing you, I don't expect an answer)

Status: offline 		..... until i decide not to wait?  I dont really wait.  I just go for it when i feel ready.  Its different for each person. 

With Master - it was the first night.

With another boyfriend - i waited a year, never slept with him and then broke up with him.

Two months with one of my partners due to orders from my ex-master.  Yes it was a good thing that I did that.

About a year and a half with my other partner, because it was how the relationship flowed.  Yes it was a good thing to do that.

I've also had sex with plenty on a first date.  It was the good thing to do in that relationship.

I decide to have sex when I feel it's right for everyone involved.  SOmetimes that's in one night, sometimes it's in a few months, sometimes it's never.

Status: offline 		About a week, second or third date sometimes on the first date. Strangely those that have succumbed on the first date all said they don't usually rush in. Now I'm not so arrogant to think there is something special about me that makes these women so readily drop their pants so I did a poll around the studio here, not scientific I know and in the aftermath of a New Year's party the response is as much 'fuck off' as a relevent answer but most people say about a week and there is one couple that fucked on their first night because we all heard the racket they created, the odd 'Jesus' and 'oh God!' and the smacks while we were trying to sing Auld Lang Syne.

Me thinks that women like to protect their reputation in public while enjoying playing the slapper in private and why not?

It was probably a let down because you waited so long. Was the height of passion still so strong after three years? I think after three years I would have given up hope and if then offered it it would have been accepted as a matter of principle for waiting three years.
