My wife and I had been dating for about 2 months before we had sex.  We have been together for over 8 years now.

...

He fingered me three hours after we laid eyes on each other...

We didn't have sex then because, I was in my brother's birthday party, and running away with the gringo would have been a little creepy to my brother.

We had sex three days after that night...

... I would not recomend doing this, unless you are coming out of a three years tormented relationship with a very confused gay boy...

uh... unless you are also gay, which would be ok...

TallAussieGirlie -> RE: Sex... How long do you wait? (1/1/2007 10:44:18 AM)

We are still waiting.  It has been nearly 8 months. I know when I would LIKE it to happen, but in our situation, its a little trickier than hey we are in the mood lets go. *sigh*
I have had first date sex, I have waited.. it usualy depends on the person, the chemistry and most definately the oppertunity.  It took me nearly 4 months to find enough alone time with my now best friend (back when we were dating) even though we had many many failed attempts in that time.

<-- Edited becasue I would get killed for putting a vanilla name in here.  I am so forgetful she doesnt like to be outted -->

Thanks everyone for answering so quickly! lol

I agree with you Michael, but... perhaps its because I've been out of a relationship for a while, but I WANT NOOKIE!!! *sad sigh* However, I must admit that like cuddleheart (spiffy pic by the way!), I have to know the person. Otherwise, imo, it's like playing Russian Roulette with my health... drat those std's/i's and HIV! So, LotusSong, what was the free luv like back then???? [:D] (I'm just razzing you, I don't expect an answer)

ME???  Not Reply??? LOL! :)  There was a PSA on TV about safe sex.  The father was addressing  the issue with his son.

The son whines.."but YOU did it!  I just want to have FUN!"

The father replyed.."I'm sorry son,  we used up all the fun in the 60's".

I never got into the free love/orgy scenes.

I'm sitting here all by my lonesome, listening to my pooch snore, thinking about some people I've been messaging lately and possible possibilities. Naturally, 'cause I'm not in a relationship, and I won't pay someone to leave,  some of those possibilities include the horizontal tango.

Which got me wondering... how long did you wait before having sex with your current/last/majority of partner(s)? Why did you wait (or not)? Do you think it was a good thing that you did what you did, or....???

Thanks,

Nosey Parker

Oh, and Happy New Year!!! [:D]

i have never "waited" to have sex, and really never understood those who do. i also have never initiated sex. i have sex with a person when they wish to have sex with me...period. i don't say no and i don't control things, therefore the cards are all in their hands. whether we have sex in the first 10 minutes, after a couple of days, a month, a year, it's entirely in their hands, not mine.

this is what comes and feels natural to me, as a submissive, as a sexual person, and as a shy/timid person.

slave4femdomina -> RE: Sex... How long do you wait? (1/1/2007 11:24:09 AM)

Wait? What? You CAN'T wait?
What is wrong with you? What happened to self-control.
If I had sex, it would be because I wanted to, not because, um, I couldn't wait and had to have it right then.

Sex will never control me, I will control it.

DiurnalVampire -> RE: Sex... How long do you wait? (1/1/2007 11:24:26 AM)

I HAVE waited. I am waiting.  I hate waiting. But I am trying to be patient since the situation I am in is complicated. I wont be waiting forever, long distance just makes it feel that way.
Sometimes its been hours or days, sometimes its been months. Whenever it feels right, I see no reason not to just go with it. As the dominant, though,  I will admit I have freaked out a good number of vanilla partners that way, so I had ben trying to learn how to wait for them to make a move. I prefer it this way, now, just to have him close enough to MAKE a move...

It depends on how long foreplay is.

The longest, three years (and man was it ever a let-down when it happened).

The shortest, right after "Hi, my name's ..." (and man was it hawt).

It was probably a let down because you waited so long. Was the height of passion still so strong after three years? I think after three years I would have given up hope and if then offered it it would have been accepted as a matter of principle for waiting three years.[:o]

It was a strong sexual attraction from the get-go but the time was never right - he was dating someone, I was dating someone, I went away to college, he did his thing. The emotional chemistry and sexual attraction was still undiluted after that time but the physical just wasn't there. He came to see me at school, and both of us knew it was for the express purpose of having sexi, but it simply didn't work out well. Ruined the friendship too.

MissyRane -> RE: Sex... How long do you wait? (1/1/2007 2:05:09 PM)

From way too quick.. up to 'when it feels right'

BlkTallFullfig -> RE: Sex... How long do you wait? (1/1/2007 2:47:26 PM)

I'm usually a second-4th date type, but I have no absolute rules, as it depends on how wonderful we feel together and how hot we make one another...  What I do know is that physical compatibility/intimacy is important enough for me that I would never ever (again) date someone who was so uncomfortable with it he needed to wait more than 3 months or until we get married to get her (or me [&:]) done.     M

How does knowing someone change what diseases they have?

Unless you have clear test results, sleeping with someone you've known for years is as risky as sleeping with a whore you met that night.

You say whore as if it's a bad thing.

I wait until I'm in a monogamous relationship. That way I don't have to worry about finding out the next day that the phone # he gave me was fake.

junecleaver -> RE: Sex... How long do you wait? (1/1/2007 9:22:55 PM)

I think I may be the only virgin on collarme lol. With all my past relationships, I've waited for the right person and the right commitment.   Yes, I think it was good decision making on my part.

DiamondOrchid -> RE: Sex... How long do you wait? (1/1/2007 11:17:11 PM)
