This is pretty much my first post ever besides my entry at the introduction thread, and my spellcheck is busted. I tried my best to edit any spelling errors, send me a quick message if you find any within, I would appreciate it: Gor...wow...what a topic. Suppose any topic with such a controversial nature is difficult to reply to. On one hand, you have many differing points of view on the other you have a lot of misunderstanding about the subject on both sides of the field. I beleive, as human beings, we are all vastly different and have different ideals that are contengent on our desire for happiness. In our search for what makes us happy, several are drawn to Gorian ideals or a Gor themed roleplaying style of domination. Whereas this thread was originally developed with an infasis on the roleplaying veriety of Gor; "fantacy world of Gor", how I would adress the question "How do 'i' feel about Gor?", would be as follows: First off, those who participate in the more fantastical parts of Gor, with the theme of roleplay enjoyment, idealy have an interest in roleplay. A topic I could very easily talk hours about, sence roleplay is a passion of mine as well. It is also obvious that those who participate in it have a strong desire to control women or be completely controlled. I would even go so far as to say, a desire to own them or be quite litterally owned by another. [pretends to be all shocked and then smiles] A submissive would also have her own reasons. Although I am not Gor, I can admit easily that I have fantisized and emagined what it would have been like to be born into a world where slavery is a constant for women. But as a disclaimer, I always emagined there would be a tall dark stranger that would both abuse me and love me, seeing things in me he never thought emaginable in a woman. In that, my desire for happiness is to be seen as a diamond in a roth. Whatever the reasons for participation, I can garantee the motive is all the same, personal happiness. As long as it doesn't hurt anyone, I would say let it be. If you are interested in Gor, then I hope it brings you the type of happiness that you crave. For, happiness is defined by the one that desires.
