As a masochist sub who is currently single, sometimes the ache to be beaten, used, taken is overwhelming...how do you cope when your needs can't be met??

I used to play an incredibly sadistic on-line game, but quit that a couple months ago.  Lately, the urge to go back has been nagging at me cause I know as soon as I log on, it will send me straight into a zone.

For now, I just kind try to slide with the feeling, do deep breathing, housework, cook or something similar.  Really loud head banging music can help.  The real trouble is I have an impossible time concentrating when I'm seized with the urge and can only manage basic routine tasks, the more physical the better.  Going to the laundrymat and then bringing home baskets of wet clothes is a great comfort, but there's only so much laundry to be done.

Its an on-going struggle. :)

Tootsie rolls are the food of the gods when one must be alone...unfortunately those five pound bags of midgees sure do end up with quite a mess of wrappers..but I am soo there with you..right now..dammit![:(]

as far as music goes..I recommend juno reactor..its the bestest damn dungeon scene music I have heard so far..I am torturing myself with listening to them right now..<sigh>

You think sadists don't feel the same ache to deliver pain to willing partners?  You're not alone, we all have needs.  The best thing possibly to do, is to occupy yourself with things that don't relate to your need to be beaten.  Homey work, going outside and clearing your head, taking a drive and let the road soothe you.  Just don't rush to anyone with a flogger in their hand.

Mind if I ask what game that is? It might be useful to pass on to my slave.

For myself, as at least a partial sadist... The only way I've found to divert my attention is to throw myself into work. The productivity seems to distract me.

Well not that I am ever good at taking my own advice, but one of the results of a beating is the endorphin rush.  I would suggest getting out and onto a cardio machine or working out might help.  It also helps so that you can eat the chocolate with less guilt! [8|]

The best I can say is it is frustrating and it sucks big time!  Hang in there.  I am sure most masochists have gone through this at one point or another...

Whenever I feel the need for a good sound hard bloody beating, I go to my ex [8D] He knows me and I trust him. If he's not available, there is one person who I will play publicly with but he's the only one. If neither of them are available, I am SoL [&:]

Seems like every one I go to there are always at least a couple of stag Dom/mes that would oblige if they got to know the sub a bit. In our crowd, if I was in your situation, even ones that are attached would entertain doing a scene as long as all parties were amenable. It might take a moment of un-subly behavior to make the request.
