being the modest person i am, i would like to think it's She's a Beauty, by The Tubes.... but it's probably more like I Hate Myself for Loving You, by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.

I sort of adopted "I Will Survive" as my theme song several years ago. An ex-fiancee told me that song represented the qualities in my nature that he really didn't like. I decided I do like those qualities within myself very much, and the song as well.

Another ex-boyfriend said the song "She's Always a Woman" by Bill Joel reminded him of me, but I really don't see it.

As a child, "Ooooh Child" was my theme song, because I always seemed to feel a sense of comfort and reassurance after I heard it. I still like the song but fortunately, my life as an adult is a lot less tumultuous than my life as a child was.

I have a longtime (20 years) friend who lives out of state, who calls me everytime she hears 'Lawyers, Guns, and Money' (Warren Zevon) on the radio...

Not sure what I'd pick for myself.

From my ex-husband, the Eurhythmics - "Would I lie to you?" I did my time with him and now the freedom is much better for me.

From one of my ex doms, Alanis Morrissette's, "You Oughta Know". I can relate to this line of "I hate to bug you in the middle of dinner. There was a slap on the face, how quickly I was replaced." At that tme, I was angry with him because he had another sub replace me in a very short period of time. We have both forgiven each other of past hurts and have remained on friendly terms. How rare is that between exes?.
