He is being dishonest with you. First and foremost, I couldn't respect or serve a Dom who was dishonest or sneaky. How can you ever trust him with your emotional, physical, psychological safety, when you can't trust him to tell you the truth or to act in your best interest. IMO Trust is so fundamental in a D/s relationship, that it can't even begin to get off the ground if it isn't present.
