i think a question to ask of and be answered by the Dommes/ Doms BUT :)

i myself would love a female supremacy and i guess many Women would too but maybe not all. Perhaps dominants would prefer to be able to socialise with other dominants of either sex and to enjoy there own subs in there own ways

we are free to surround ourselves with as many likeminded people as we can. If you're a dominant get yourself a stable (some of whom will be close to You some of whom will be distant perhaps directed by the subs who are close to You) and meet with other dominants that have stables. Fill your own world with the people/ activites You like rather than thinking of a uniform world where everyone on earth sees things the same way.

i am totally convinced that as the nuclear family breaks down we will see more communities of dominants and their subs/slaves

As has been pointed out there is no real evidence of a matriarcal country or culture in history.
However I believe that there is evidence of matriarchal sub cultures.
I come from a traditional farming/small business family.
I believe from anicdotal evidence and experience that my family has usually been matriarchal on both sides.
That is certainly not to say that the women were 'better' which is a value judgement but that they held the power.
They were accepted as being better at ruling both the business and the family.
It seemed to work for generation after generation with notable exceptions.
I can't imagine that my family is the only example.
Strong women tend to breed strong women.
Countries and companies still tend to be run by men, again with notable exceptions.
It's pretty obvious why.
Because women have the children and used to run the homes leaving men free to follow their careers.
The more societies change to accept, that with help, women can do both the more women we will see in powerful positions.
When you live on a farm or over the shop you can do both.
It's more difficult when you work away from home.
I dislike the idea of any kind of supremacy. It negates the value of others.
However I like the idea of positive discrimination to help certain individuals or groups who because of their nature or societies shortfalls start out with a disadvantage.
Women need the help of men to gain equality.
If we alienate them we never will.
It's not a question of uniformity.
Although as has also been pointed out we all have a mixture of male and femaleness within us.
One of the more male traits is competitivness.
One of the more female traits is compromise.
Which one is more likely to avoid unecessary conflict leading to war?

with genetic engineering and other advances will we be getting near the end of men and women?

if a woman can get pregnant without sperm what need for men? and in future if there are artificial wombs what need for women?

My opinion is that the US and the world is male dominated, and therefore, y'all (males) stating that you are is belaboring the obvious...  Kinky (non-standard) is the woman who states I am dominant, and prefer men who submit to me, as opposed to your average vanilla male dominated relationship.     M

unfortunately it is kinky to want to submit to women. in vanilla world there is a sort of contract between a man and woman that the woman will be cared for in return for submission. women may doubt that this actually happens so want to be liberated. the marriage contract gives some support to the woman who submits: if she gives up work to look after children , the house etc. she can't just at a later date be thrown out at the man's whim. perhaps a more widespread establishment of female dominance in personal relationships needs the creation of dominant woman/ sub man contracts that will establish some responsibilities in law for both the woman and the man. if this happened i think more men would submit to women.
