Status: offline 		whenever i see a pornstar having anal sex, it always appears as if there is no lube used. sure in some cases you see them use some lube, but usualy the toys or whatever is to be used, does not have any lube on it...
this scares and intrigues me all at the same time

You can bet that most of the time, the pornstar was pre-lubed...she was slicked up before the anal ever came about. 

Yes, there are some women who prefer to go dry or with only a little lubrication...my sub-turned-femdomme was one on particular occasions when we were together...but I would be willing to bet that most women prefer lubrication for most of their anal encounters. 

I will be curious to see the answers to this question also.

Status: offline 		My Owner uses me in that fashion (anal, no lube) on a regular basis. It's not horrifically painful, and I find that I lubricate around him as he continues his use, so .... it works out just fine... your mileage may vary...

Status: offline 		I think this is a preference thing.  Like CreativeDominant said I too would guess that most want lube. In my personal experiance having tried both ways a little lube can be your friend depending on (cough) size.  But too much is horrible!

Status: offline 		aye, i've heard lube is good to prevent tears and ripping and feeling like you're being split open.

Sometimes its used and sometimes not. 

You could probably do a search on Anal

Status: offline 		Well, every book on anal sex I've read states use lube, lots of lube, there is no such thing as too much lube but then why does it feel soo damn good when the lube runs out? I think it is just a matter of personal preference and that my girl has never had lube up her ass before but she loves it, both the orgasms and the pain.

These are movies, i.e., you only see what they want you to see - nobody goes into a double anal for instance, cold - they have "fluffers", assistants that warm  them up, and keep them going between shots, all sorts of stuff. There are women that can do a lot of stuff from a cold start, but they've been doing for a while, and it's not the norm.

I've heard women say that, never tried it, but if she was inexperienced or really tight, I'd be too worried about a prolapse, tearing, etc. - that shit is not pretty.

Status: offline 		Sure it is a matter of personal preference.  Not to mention no too bodies are alike.  I find too much lube a mess.  A bit of lube - perfect.  I also love the pain and the orgasms.  Frankly, he forewent the lube once - my ass bled for 2 days.  My personal preference is not to go there again.  Thankfully, it's his personal preference, too!

Don't be a fool, use lots of lube. All pornstars are pre-lubed before they shoot the scene.

When I made my first strapon vid, I used my strapon on him for 5 to 10 minutes before
we started shooting. You can't see the lube in the vid but, it's there.

Status: offline 		I agree with Amaros.  You only see what they want you to see.  In reality they take breaks to apply lube, fix makeup, wipe up sweat, adjust the lighting etc...what do you think the face shots are for?  lol...to give them a chance to cut away, pause and "adjust" :)
  But personally, I also prefer no lube!

Status: offline 		i have been having anal sex since i was 21 (almost 30 years) and i have never used any lubricant other than what comes naturally from the body.  Just plain spit and vaginal juices work well for me.  i don't want any chemical products used in me.  i have never been hurt by anal sex or butt plugs being used on me without lubricants.  Of course, it took a little time to get me relaxed enough and nothing was ever just rammed into me, either.  Like the old saying goes, "Good things cum to those who wait."

Status: offline 		i and my Master usualy dont use lube, i usualy find it more painful when he do as it is then easy to go in to fast. i have been sore now and then but never had any real problems. i need lube for bigger things than his penis though.

Status: offline 		I have to say, I'm shocked. After all, I've read all the books (as another poster mentioned) and they all say "there's no such thing as too much lube" when attempting anal. Still, I will admit that I have enjoyed using toys on myself and don't always need lube. I think it definitely depends on how relaxed and ready the person is. Nothing hurts worse (IMO) than trying to ram something hard into a tight and dry hole especially if the person is tense (by that point panicking.)

Still, I'm really, really, surprised to see so many people say they don't often or never have used lube for anal. Wow. Proves that book learning only takes you so far. ;)

I have torn before and had some pretty good bleeding after anal. Yet, I still perfer no lube; there is something about that first rush of pain that just sets the blood pumping.

Status: offline 		I'm with Mistress Yiwa. Sometimes it doesn't take a lot of lube, but I always use at least some, even on my most experienced boys. I won't take the risk of tearing.
