Status: offline 		I am sure I probably have, but I don't feel guilty about it.  I don't really like that description of it, I consider it more making my needs at the time known.  Maybe if I wanted things a bit more rough or something like that, I would lead in that direction. That might not mean they were done that way, but I put it out there for him to decide.
 
I am a firm believer that slaves have needs also and they should be allowed to express that to their Master.  That won't always mean they get it right then exactly how they want it, but there is nothing wrong with that communication.
 
Some do consider that topping from the bottom, I just consider it being totally open and vunerable to someone else.

Status: offline 		That's pretty much the way I feel kasha.  I believe we all have needs and should be allowed to express them.  Although some Doms may be mind readers, I doubt if they all are.  If we don't express our needs, then how do they get known?

Yes, though I have never done so intentionally and the behavior was modified immediatly.

Mentioning needs and leaving it to the Dom to meet or not in my mind is not topping.
Whining, and maniuplating to get what he chooses not to give you is different in my eyes.
Mentioning something isn't bad, but harping on it pushing what you want is in my eyes.

Status: offline 		Yes.  Sometimes it was on purpose and used as a way to help train a dom. 

Most of the time topping from the bottom is a sign of insecurity/frustration/lack of communication, or just a dom trying to guilt a sub into being quiet.

I don't believe topping can be achieved unless the person it's being attempted on allows it. That being said it leaves attempt of. Willfully and deliberately attempting to get your way I view as attempt. It being done as a matter of natural course and interactions between humans I do not. I have never willfully and deliberately attempted this. Has it been told I have? Yes but then their view of it isn't mine. Did they get topped? Don't have a clue because I don't recognize what happens in this situation. If it did happen..then guess they deserved to be toppled.

Status: offline 		To me that goes into a thing like a statement “I have never told a lie”. Even the most “perfect” slave has probably at some point done a topping from a bottom thing. For most, and I hope myself, it is unintentional or done not to avoid taking care of or pleasing my Master. To think that I have never used my knowledge of how my Master thinks to get something I want or been in a bad place mentally where my Master had to do something for me that he would not have normally done, would be denial at it’s finest. I think though if done too often or as a short cut then you are in danger of damaging your relationship.

Status: offline 		...my personal experiences with 'topping from the bottom' always seem to come from the interpratation of the Master/Dominant...i have never deliberately done it...i would never intentionally do it...but i have accidentially done it...what is topping from the bottom to one Master/Dominant has not necessarily been the same to another...

Yes and intentional to help Hubby when He was learning this lifestyle, because i was the more experienced one.
