DeepWaters -> State of the Union (1/23/2007 7:06:08 PM)

hey guys anyone else see a red flag when he mentioned doubling the strategic oil reserve?

mymasterssub69 -> RE: State of the Union (1/23/2007 7:09:43 PM)

skipping the annual mindless dribble from dubya tonight

Sinergy -> RE: State of the Union (1/23/2007 7:10:25 PM)

I saw a red flag when I noticed that Monkeyboy's lips were moving and morphemes were being expressed from his pie-hole.

I wont even get in to his body language which indicates he knows he is lying when he speaks.

But that is just me and I could be wrong.

WyrdRich -> RE: State of the Union (1/23/2007 7:10:54 PM)

Nope.  That was one of the smarter things he said.  And he didn't look like a beaten man this time.

What was up with Pelosi's eyes though?  Was Cheney wearing some toxic cologne?

DeepWaters -> RE: State of the Union (1/23/2007 7:14:51 PM)

"smarter" if we're headed into a resource war---or worried about being cut off once we start bombing iran...

though his commitment to ethanol and alternative fuels was paltry compared to whats realistically possible....fuel dependency is hamstringing us when it doesn't have to be.

dcnovice -> RE: State of the Union (1/23/2007 7:16:14 PM)

Decided I wasn't masochistic enough to watch!

Okay... so yet another expert on the President of the United States finally shares with us the source of all her wisdom, then.

As usual, it's LITERALLY complete willful ignorance.

Some people are more resistant to projectile vomiting than others.

The only time I want to hear that man speak is when he says he is leaving the White House for good.

He got a lot of applause from the Dims - they must love it.

Are you honestly saying there was something other than mindless "dribble" from His Royal Shrubness this evening?  I imagine the Earth would have shifted off it's axis if that were the case, and since it didn't, I'm going to make a grand leap of faith here and say the answer to my original question is probably "no."

How exactly do you know that the people applauding were Democrat?  Congress is split by like 4 people.

Some people (like myself) applaud everything that a speaker says because it is the polite thing to do.

p.s. On the other hand, the odds you would find me at a speech given by Monkeyboy are so miniscule as to be undetectable by modern scientific methods.

leathersmith -> RE: State of the Union (1/23/2007 7:36:01 PM)

Nobody is more opposed to the Smirking chimp than me but I still get a thrill out of the ceremony and what a fucking huge charge to see Madame Speaker
And to anyone who thinks I belong to the Democrat Party hold up while I get the single tail out

caitlyn -> RE: State of the Union (1/23/2007 7:37:42 PM)

I didn't find it mindless dribble. I don't agree with quite a bit of what he had to say, but that's another matter.

JohnSteed1967 -> RE: State of the Union (1/23/2007 7:38:03 PM)

I SO AGREE!

You're an expert on politics, but yet you're completely unaware that the Dims always sit on the left?

JohnSteed1967 -> RE: State of the Union (1/23/2007 7:41:03 PM)

The Man is EVIL PURE and SIMPLE!

His Whole Damn family is corrupt. They don't care about America the only thing they care about is lining their damn pockets with the money they rape out of the wallets of hard working americans!

It's my opinion that they earn that title every day. EXAMPLE: Who are they nominating this time - Hillary? [sm=ofcourse.gif]
