A former slave of mine works as a pro-sub, and being young and pretty and a genuine pain slut she can just about write her own ticket, although there are not a lot who can afford her. The manager of the salon she works in was over the moon to get a genuine sub - most of the so-called pro-subs are switches or Dominas who do it for the money only, or even straight prostitutes who are getting too old for the straight trade. Every minor detail is negotiated, and she charges $100 per stroke with the cane on top of the base fee and any other extras she negotiates. She can earn up to $1000 for an hour session, and tells me that the vast majority of her clients are pussycats. Then again, occasionally she gets a brute, so she earns her money. What stops many is fear. Being a pro sub can be a dangerous thing. When you visit a pro, there isn't the emotional attachment and concern to keep the sub healthy; you have to rely upon their honor. Moreover, the person may feel they paid, so they can do as they please. If you're interested in becoming a pro sub, contact your local dungeon that has Domme or Dom working out of it (yes, there are pro Dom too..) and ask what they would require of you to work there. This is one of the places that having less experience might be good, as long as you're willing to carry out the service contracted. Do not try being a prosub on your own. Do not do it without protection of a club or establishment. There are too many people out there who aren't SS&C. You really don't want to be the feature story on the 11:00 News

i saw a pro sub years ago on "Real Sex".... i was so jealous. [:D] Unfortunately the only dungeon we have in my area has a strict no play for pay policy, so i am out of luck. From what I've gatherd from the term "pro" means that they give there services for a fee. Pro Dominants will charge to put you in bondage, spank you, and such. As goes the phrase "Will Flog for Food." Pro Submissives will be willing to submit to X amount for a price. Pro means they are good enough to recive money because it's worth it and want to do it as a job/career. Just like a massage therapist. I myself find it hard to belive that ppl acctually want to pay for this when there are so many willing to do it for free. Your Submission for My Domminance. Sounds like a fair trade for me without having to pay for it. And if Sex occurs, then neither of us have to worry about being deamed a prostitute.

You'd be suprised who'd pay for what. there's a lot of deseprate people who can't find this stuff any other way. An interesting comment made to me once by a pro-domme who used to work as a pro-switch, was that pro-subbing was ultimately unrewarding because she had to constantly show the guy what to do. Learning how to pro-sub involves being able to coach the guy in how to dom. Japanese Dungeons have many pro-subs and that can be a good place to learn if you can handle the travel and foreign language.

This isn't to take a position against anyone elses kinks, just to state my own thoughts. If I had to pay a woman to be my submissive/play partner/etc I would feel the act to be a bit hollow. I would think of it as a hairdresser. She might love cutting hair, but she wouldn't be cutting -mine- if I didn't pay her to. Then again, I dated a girl who cut hair for a living and never had to pay her for it. As for the fantasy of being a 'full service' escort specializing in kinky activities, you could always as your current Dom (or some friends) to arrange something with a close friend of theirs that you don't know. I am generally not apprehensive about posting, but I did have to debate if I wanted to or not on this, but I cannot believe I am the only one thinking this? Why would you want to? I have to think the whole concept of the lifestyle is circumvented by Pro anythings..in my humble opinion. Wouldn't the four cornerstones; Trust, Honesty, Communication and Respect, all be missing from a Pro scene. Perhaps I am missing the point..hmmm. (slips quietly away from his soapbox)

She works out of a professional dungeon, so she doesn't deal with the risks of going off somewhere alone with a stranger. So, she basically did what you said - decided one day to do the pro gig, said so, and started charging money for scenes. If I can interject something here, I noticed the subject of Pro before a Domm'mes name implies they are in for the money, because they are that good--to be able to charge. On the other hand, I have used this "Pro" to imply skill, and knowledge. Nobody has ever asked me what my "Tribute" would be, and I wouldn't accept one if offered. But, I am now truly in a quandry not knowing how many just take for granted I ask for a tribute?
